Very nice boutique hotel, but was let down by the value for the money ($540 for one night) and the details. Rooms were in great shape and were nicely appointed. Mattress was comfortable. They have a record library and record players in the room, but the library was a mess and 2/3 records I picked had the wrong record in the sleeve. Half of the goods in their minibar were past their best before date. They charge for late checkout.

Nice, clean room | Great location downtown | Staff was very helpful & nice to deal with. Vegan Ontario-made soap, lotion and shampoo/conditioner provided. Looking forward to returning again. Will definitely recommend.

Great area, clean comfortable room, no tub but nice shower, comfortable mattress & pillows, private terrace, restaurants on site, can walk to many destinations, abundant parking, no room service late at night was only complaint, staff were very eager to please, we felt safe & happy here!

Clean and aesthetically pleasing. The room has all the amenities you want/need. Staff was courteous and professional. The rooftop dining room was beautiful and the food was delicious.

From check in to check out, they had it all covered. Very responsive and helpful. Such a unique place and spotless.

Room and staff lovely. Not our usual size room. A bit smaller than we’ve had before.

The front desk staff had placed a hand written note in our room welcoming us to the Broadview. In this day and age of digitization the hand written note was super impressive. I've brought it home and have placed it on my desk. A constant reminder of what can be achieved by a happy staff in a beautiful period building.

Great hotel

Room was spotless and perfect. Bed was confortable. Room had everything I needed. Loved the bath robes!

Staff was knowledgeable and helpful stay was nice the building is lovely and well maintained. two not so great things …. sink wouldn’t drain and paid extra for a terrace room to smoke out there just to find a no smoking sign out there.

This hotel was so wonderful and funky in the best possible way. The lobby smelled amazing. The rooms have record players and there’s a library on one of the floors with records and books. The restaurant on the top floor has a panoramic view, delicious food, and tasty cocktails. Probably the best calamari I’ve ever had. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. The staff was very helpful. Would 10/10 stay again.

The hotel was charming. The rooms clean and comfortable. Both the rooftop restaurant and the bistro had excellent food and friendly staff. Best of all was the convenience of public transportation. Tram 501 and 505 were close by and made access to downtown very easy.
