Beautiful place. We stayed in one of the family bungalows. It was perfect for our family of 4. Nice and clean. The staff were above and beyond friendly and helpful. The only down side was the distance from town. Had to take a 20 minute shuttle or taxi to get around. The resident alpacas were a nice touch.

Hotel maravilhoso, super indico

Everything was lovely and the staff were great. I had a free day and asked what I could do nearby. I ended up having a lovely morning with Audry (member of staff) who cycled with me (hotel bicycle) to a nearby archaeological site where we had a walk around. Extra thanks to Audry for talking in English and making my stay special.

O hotel é um pouco afastado, mas isso acaba sendo um ponto positivo para quem busca silêncio e tranquilidade. A estrutura é muito bonita, com uma vista incrível das montanhas, e todo o ambiente é limpo e bem cuidado. Os quartos têm um estilo rústico e aconchegante, alguns até com lareira, embora não tenha ficado claro como utilizá-la. O café da manhã é servido à la carte, com poucas opções, mas suficiente para começar o dia. O restaurante oferece comida saborosa, e há ainda uma sala de jogos bem equipada para lazer. O ambiente silencioso convida ao descanso e torna a estadia ideal para quem deseja se desconectar e aproveitar alguns dias em meio à natureza. Recomendo para quem procura tranquilidade e belas paisagens!

This was a beautiful place to stay. We loved our bungalow and the setting. The only negative is that it is so remote and hard to get anywhere. It would be so helpful if there was some shuttle service available into town.

El hotel en general es muy bonito, pero es un abuso para el turista que se promocionen como en ollantaytambo cuando está a 30 minutos del pueblo, y el llevarte o recogerte te lo cobran e 80 soles por ida, incluso más caro que el costo de los taxis locales que son caza turistas. Pedí el cuarto más caro y no había agua en mi baño y me tuvieron esperando sin darme una respuesta alguna, lo cual fue muy molesto. Además, (insisto tenía el cuarto más caro) no habia ni una botella de agua en el cuarto, si querías tenias que comprar. La comida no es mala pero o es nada acercado a buena. De ahí en más el hotel en general si es bueno.

Beautiful, peaceful, nice place to stay. Friendly staff. We really enjoyed it. We visited Machu Pichu And areas around the Sacred Valley. Highly recommend this place if you have transportation or can arrange it. The hotel might be able to help with that. We rented a car.

It was quiet and I felt safe. A great value for the cost.

The hotel was very quiet during our stay and the restaurant was very average. However, the room was comfortable and the staff were all extremely helpful. It’s a shame that the hotel wasn’t a bit busier. AA little bit far from Ollantaytambo.

Amazing and relaxing! It’s a little ways away from Ollantaytambo, but worth the drive for the spectacular views and property.

Del Pillar is a beautiful hotel. The staff is friendly, the amenities (game room, indoor/outdoor seating) are nice and the food was very good. The only complaint is how far from town the property was. The rooms were nice and the grounds were lovely, but it felt so far away that you didn’t want to stay there for very long.

El hotel está francamente alejado por una carretera malísima , de difícil acceso y de lo que no se avisa . El servicio de transferencia que tienen con el pueblo debería ser gratis por lo mal comunicado del hotel ( te cobran 25 dólares mientras que en taxi son 12 dólares ). Por último el personal es inaceptable , al menos el camarero responsable del restaurante que no se entera de nada , añadiendo que pedimos dos cervezas y solo quedaba una, pedimos té verde y no tenia , para desayunar pedimos tostadas de pan y nos pusieron pan Bimbo, el postre lo tuvimos que devolver porque estába incomible .... vamos que muy mala elección teniendo en cuenta la vida y los hoteles que hay en el pueblo .

Del Pilar... AMAZING property surrounded by mountains (some snow-capped)! Although this hotel is about 15-20 minutes outside of Ollantaytambo, it's definitely worth staying outside of town with the great restaurant, super-friendly staff and beautiful, clean rooms. I would highly suggest staying in the 2-bedroom condos, which are really awesome!
