Chambre et salle de bains très propres,presque neuves. Malheureusement aucun accueil malgré une arrivée en fin d'après-midi ( juste un mail reçu dans la journée). Aucune info sur les possibilités pour le dîner ou le petit déjeuner. Impossible d'avoir une table au Doolin à proximité ( accueil très mitigé. Il faut accepter d'attendre plus de 3/4 d'heure debout devant le bar) A ce propos, je conseille d'aller quelques dizaines de mètres plus loin au Riverside ( prix très corrects et accueil charmant). Enfin il est regrettable que des touristes arrivent en pleine nuit sans se soucier du repos des autres . C'est une maison et pas un hôtel avec ses inconvénients ( insonorisation moyenne notamment pour la douche à 1h du matin...) Grosse déception par rapport aux commentaires lus auparavant

Very clean friendly and helpful

Great spot

Great free parking, clean spacious room. The family room has lots of space for a couple to spread out and not feel like you're living out of a suitcase. As we have found with so many B&Bs, there is very little horizontal space in the bathroom to spread out cosmetics and toiletries, but this is typical. The biggest issue is that there is something constantly flapping in the wind all night long just outside the family room windows, even closed.

The Blackberry Lodge presents the best of both worlds to its guests— it’s in the beautiful country and off the beaten path of the main street in Doolin, but still close enough to walk to the pubs and restaurants on that main street. It’s even walkable to the Doolin pier (although that would be a heftier walk— but still doable if you want to get some exercise!) The Doolin pier is a 5-minute drive and offers ferry rides to the Aran Islands. There is a pitch and putt golf course right next to the pier. It’s also 8 minutes to the Doolin cave and 15-20 minutes to the Cliffs of Moher. In other words, the location is stellar! The accommodations, also, are wonderful. There is plenty to of parking. We stayed in room 3 upstairs, which sleeps 4 people comfortably, and there is still a lot of room to move around, plenty of closet space, and a spacious bathroom. The room was clean and everything seems brand new. There was a playpen in the closet for babies. The innkeepers served a great Irish breakfast and were extremely accommodating. We’d highly recommend a stay at this lovely B&B!

The great location makes this place a good place to stay. In a very cozy country lane with pretty fields all around. It's a very pleasant walk to the pubs in town. And there are some excellent restaurants nearby. The room was fine. No lift so a bit difficult to get our heavy bags up to our room. The main issue we had was with the breakfast. One person is responsible for service and cooking. It took an hour to get our meal day one. The next day breakfast was not even set up. No water for coffee and no coffee cups. So we ate elsewhere. Hiring one more person would likely make breakfast work but, as is, I recommend trying one of the excellent places in town.

On a eu un super séjour. La chambre était belle et sentait le bois ! Tout était propre , bien entretenu et silencieux . Le lodge est près des restos et pub . Nous avons adoré !

I had a great one-night stay here with my wife. The room was very clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. The location is ideal, set in a lovely small town and close to nearby attractions like the Cliffs of Moher. There’s also ample parking on site, which made everything very convenient. I really appreciated the breakfast options too, with both regular and Irish breakfast offerings available. Our interaction with the owner was very pleasant and added a personal touch to the stay. A short but thoroughly enjoyable experience—I’d happily return and recommend it to others.

Everything was safe and great. It had a cozy, homey feel. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and even waited for us to arrive late to check if we needed any assistance. The breakfast was delicious. For just 8 euros, it’s an unbeatable deal. The parking area was conveniently located.
