The place is quite and the room is clean. Breakfast has many choice but the milk was not keeping well and turned bad. I

check in is smooth and fast the room is big and the bath water is hot enough although the room decoration is not new, it is clean and comfortable

早餐很好吃！雖然我們打住宿電話一直打不進去，但是服務生很好，還借我們超大的廚房煮晚餐，房間乾淨整潔可以開兩個大行李箱！設備也很齊全，吹風機/熱水壺/盥洗用品都有，是我們住冰島最棒的一間！可惜我們抵達時天氣不好，不然聽說這間有機會看極光，下次來還會選擇這間入住

Interior is much more attractive than exterior. Outlook is not good but the room is large and comfortable. Restaurant is good especially when it is difficult to find place to dine at nearby area. Very close to Dyrhólaey.

This is a kind of hostel in the countryside for those who make a one-night stop over before further going. Rooms look pretty old, very simply equipped. Hotel is located about 10 minutes drive from Vik town.

Among the best stays my wife and I had in Iceland. Very friendly staff, Eva was terrific and we chatted a bit upon our arrival. We wish her the best during her time in Iceland, if she reads this! You made our stay delightful! Breakfast is amazing here, lots of hot and cold options and a few extras not offered in other breakfasts too, cod liver oil for one. The rooms were quite clean, well ventilated, lots of parking, and great showers that are contained and not the typical European shower that gets waters everywhere with no lip/seperated shower area. Much appreciate this. Easy to clean fiberglass shower unit, great design choice by the owners, kudos. Also has great ventilation, comfy beds, would stay here mulitiple nights. Only con is that the nearest town is Vik, which is about 10-15 mins away. Overall, would stay again! Thanks again, Eva!

Contactless check-in = No staff on property. Ambience zero. View Zero. Rooms sterile. My wife called it “Motel 1”Nothing in way of restaurants, etc. anywhere nearby.

Nice room and property about a 15 minute drive from Vik. Breakfast was good. Everything was very clean and comfortable.

Rooms are very small, there was on soap for hand wash and shower. Staff was not cheerful. Rooms are in different building from the office and dinning room

My son and I stayed here for 2 nights this past week. Loved it! The room was clean and spacious, with a window that opened which was so nice! Breakfast was excellent, with eggs, bacon, fruits, bread and coffee. Very friendly staff that took pride in their work. I would definitely stay again!

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little smaller but clean and well kept. Plenty of parking and quiet for a quick stay. Its a quick 15 min drive from Vik, would recommend.

Excellent déjeuner et propreté

Great location, great views, and a great value for Iceland. Hotel Burfell was the perfect home base for exploring the South Coast. We were able to easily visit Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss, Kvernufoss, Dyrhólaey, Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, and Vík without spending all day in the car. The room was clean and comfortable, and the property has beautiful views in every direction. It was nice coming back after a long day of sightseeing and having a quiet place to relax. The free breakfast buffet was a nice bonus and made it easy to get an early start each morning before heading out to explore. The staff were friendly, check-in was easy, and everything was exactly what we needed for our trip. I'd definitely stay here again if I come back to Iceland.

Hotel Búrfell had incredible views and a scenic location. It was close to Dyrhólaey and only about 15 minutes from Vík, which made it a convenient place to stay while exploring the area. The hotel itself was nothing fancy. The room was very simple, and the bathroom was basic, but it worked well for a short stay. Check-in was self check-in, which made the process easy, and there was parking available on site. The main downside was that it was very loud, so I would recommend bringing either a sound machine or earplugs. Overall, it was a simple but convenient stay with beautiful views and a peaceful location.
