The staff were lovely , friendly and always happy to help. It is spotlessly clean and the breakfasts they offer are first class. All the staff are always smiling and will chat to you and always ready to answer any questions on the area, bus and train routes even places to eat. We will definitely be staying again.

The Steps up to the hotel are quite steep and especially for the elderly dangerous needs something doing to sort it out. Breakfast was quite good but the food was not piping hot eggs looked a bit bland buffet style, all in all quite good but would not stay again.

The hotel was very clean. The staff were very pleasant and could not have been more more helpful. The Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked. I would definitely stay here again

Recently decorated room and all very clean and tidy, very pleased with breakfast selection of hot and cold choices. Also choice of coffees in the machine. Only problem was with the shower head in the bracket in the cubicle. Was leaking. Reported to reception and said they will sort. Would definitely stay again, staff helpful.

A classy old gal on the beach. New windows that kept noise down. Nice towels and a very nice size too.

I can recommend this hotel for the following reasons: 1) Great location near the prom 2) Very friendly and attentive staff 3) Superb breakfast - probably the best hotel buffet breakfast I have ever had. Everything hot and fresh and lots of choice - continental or full English 4) Very good value 5j Great shower and bathroom The hotel is undoubtedly dated in terms of decor (but seems to be in the process of being updated) but our room was very clean. Also like most hotels in this area, parking is a bit tricky.

Warm welcome and farewell from the helpful receptionists. Great location. Straightforward to find on-street parking opposite hotel. Spotlessly clean single room, lovely en-suite and well equipped with comfortable bed (I slept like a log), tv, tea making equipment, wardrobe, fan, dressing table. Slightly dated decor but this did not detract from the fantastic experience. Excellent well cooked buffet breakfast. I will definitely stay again.

Great location, just off the front. Staff were helpful and friendly. That’s the good points. Room was small, bed way too small for 2 people. Shower trickled water and was too small to shower with door closed. The buffet breakfast was ok. The bar area is also way too small for such a big hotel, although the staff did recommend the bat in their sister hotel just round the corner
