Friendly staff, quiet location, comfortable beds & room

The bedroom was great and clean. Breakfast was good but lacking choice of cereals etc and other options. Check in was at 4pm and check out at 10.30 which is not the norm for other hotels which offer check in at 3pm and check out at 12, which i thought was a little stingy etc. Other then that, a good stay.

Everything was great for our stay only wish we could of stayed longer but work commitments

From arrival to leaving after four nights our stay was lovely, friendly inviting staff with a comfortable bed & pillows & a great breakfast. Highly recommended.

Great all round

Clean and smart rooms, brilliant shower, great food in the restaurant and tiptop service. Will definitely be back!

Great if you have restricted mobility as there is level access to almost everywhere and a lift!

Really excellent hotel, very close to Anne Hathaway house. Two restaurants, one serving incredible Indian food. The best hotel on our trip. If you plan to visit Stratford, highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly relaxing stay, lovely room.

High standard of cleanliness throughout. Quiet environment. Staff member who handled our check in was very courteous and helpful. Teamaking facilities housed in the wardrobe not practical. Had to move clothes out of the way to boil kettle. Only 1 chair in our double room, so had to stand up to drink tea or sit on bed. Breakfast room housed in a different building not ideal, had it been raining. No staff on arrival to greet or direct us. Table top too sticky had to move to a different table. Breakfast included in the price (we chose English) very poor: 1 very small and thin slice of bacon, small sausage 1 egg, 1 thin slice of black pudding, beans and 1 hash brown, half tomato. Toast included was ok there was orange juice and choice of another juice. Long wait approx. 20 minutes for cooked breakfast. Asked for cafetiere coffee and warm milk . Warm milk didn't arrive, and coffee very weak, and not very hot. Cereals, yogurts, fruit ,pastries would incur extra cost. We would not choose to stay in this hotel again.

The reception was very kind

The place was spotless. Beds comfortable. High quality bed linen. However the rooms are not soundproofed - at all. We could hear the couple next door chatting on the phone and things. This would NOT be a hotel for a romantic break away which is a shame as it is a lovely hotel. Couple of other niggles - the aircon didn’t work. This was one of the reasons we had chosen this hotel due to weather forecast being warm. Also if anyone is not taking toiletries expecting L’occitane, they have changed the range being used.

Great rooms and staff would stay again

Stayed one night as a wedding anniversary treat. The hotel was beautiful and the staff so friendly. Only mentioned in passing about our anniversary at check in and when we got back to the room later that evening there was some sweet treats for us, so kind.

The Hotel was very pleasant - the rooms were good, breakfast was good and the service we received was good. The only downside was the need to rely on taxis to get into and out of the town centre.

Really nice hotel lovely rooms so smart & clean & the location was great short walk into the town which was great to work up an appetite

Was in an annex would have liked to stay in main hotel. Food was excellent.

the room was clean and comfortable and had aircon the lady manager was super helpful i would return just because of her the bar was a little underwhelming and lacking in atmosphere, and no ale on a pump

I had a lovely experience during my stay. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. The staff were absolutely amazing—friendly, helpful, and always attentive. The food was also very good and exceeded expectations.
