There are better places to stay in Bathurst. Unfortunately, I had a death in my family and needed to adjust my travel dates to attend the funeral. The hotel initially told me they could not accommodate the change because I had prepaid through Expedia. However, after speaking with Expedia directly, Expedia contacted the hotel manager, who confirmed that the hotel was simply choosing to enforce its policy rather than accommodate the request. What made this especially disappointing was that rooms were available on the dates I requested. I even offered a compromise: move my stay by two days and extend my booking with an additional night, resulting in more business for the hotel. Despite this, they refused to make any accommodation. I understand that policies exist, but customer service and compassion matter, especially in situations involving a family death. Based on this experience, I would not stay here again and would recommend considering other options in Bathurst, such as the Best Western or other local accommodations.

Great property, quiet, great value. Only thing I could improve is the AC / air circulation, it got really hot at night even though the AC was on.

The hotel was very filthy. The carpet looked decades old and clearly hadn't been cleaned professionally since it was built. The hallway and the elevator was had a stale smell like old people retirement home. There were no fan to circulate the hair and I had to hesitate taking the elevator. I stayed in room 327 when I walked in I knew I made a mistake booking the hotel, you could tell the sheets were not crisp and clean you could tell it was not washed from the previous customer. The pillows were like pancakes very flat and misshaped. The air conditioner sounded like a freight train and there was no bedside lamp, there was only one lamp next to the television and it was very dull. The towels were discolored from white to dark brown, the toilet could hardly flush. Having travelled all over the world I have to say this is the worst place I ever stayed. And I will never make that mistake again, lucky for me it was just one night.

Great friendly staff!

La chambre était propre et les meubles relativement récents. Le service est uniquement en anglais mais on ne m’a pas obligé de le parler ce qui est bien. Il n’y avait qu’une seule débarbouillette dans la salle de bain et rien pour que me femme se démaquille. La fan de la salle de bain est bruyante et s’allume automatiquement avec la lumière. Le déjeuner était vraiment bon et le café excellent.

Nothing special, just okay

The most outstanding part of the hotel was definitely the staff. The young woman who checked us in and was working later that evening when we returned from our event made our evening. Thank you to everyone at the Quality Inn
