Budget hotel made excellent by super helpful owners/staff. Very kind and helpful people who were happy to help me with hair dryer, cell phone charger for out of country Travellers. No elevator but they carried my suitcase to the room for me. Very nice people made my stay lovely. Decent breakfast and they accommodated my vegetarian diet.

The room was clean and tidy with all the usual additions - tea, coffee, toiletries etc. The mattress on the bed was not too firm, but acceptable however, please be aware that the reception is NOT 24 hours...which was an issue for us as the fire alarm went off at 4am and there was no-one around to take charge of the situation. Fortunately, it turned out to be a false alarm, but with no staff around to manage the situation, it was very unsettling and e did not sleep for the rest of the night..! Seems no-one works at reception on Sunday mornings either, so we could not discuss this episode with anyone from the hotel...!!

I stayed at Columbia Hotel & Restaurant and overall had a comfortable and pleasant experience. The hotel has a friendly, family-run feel and the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, which really made a positive difference. The room was clean, tidy, and perfectly adequate for a short stay. While the hotel is a bit dated in places, everything was well-maintained and I felt comfortable during my visit. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything I needed, including tea and coffee facilities. Overall, it’s a solid budget-friendly hotel that delivers on cleanliness, comfort, and friendly service. I would happily stay again for a short visit and would recommend it for anyone looking for good value accommodation in Wellingborough.

Decent family room and a decent place to stay for the night. My only complaint was the shower head is fixed making it difficult for people of smaller height (like myself) to shower properly - it also leaked out of the shower because of its positioning which drenched the floors.

Check in was quick and staff helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and looked like it had new furniture, curtains and carpets. Some friends staying in other rooms did not have the same experience, it seems the refurbishment hadn’t reached there yet. The corridors etc looked tired and dated but for the price, our stay was very comfortable and convenient.

Great value, basic, clean, not modern but did its job. I needed a comfy bed, clean bathroom, nice and peaceful, good parking and great breakfast. It was cheap. Great family hotel, very friendly.

The room was spotless. Probably the cleanest hotel room I've stayed in. The staff are excellent. I am rating 5 stars as it stands out as a budget/midrange bracket accommodation.

The hotel was a bit dated but immaculately clean. I had a warm double bed, wall mounted TV, en suite shower room that looked new. Tea, coffee and biscuits. The breakfast was the best I’d ever had, including at 5* hotels. Freshly cooked for each person. Everything supplied for a full English including fresh juice, eggs, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, beans, cereal. I really loved my stay
