Cozy and beautiful property. Located right on the river for wildlife watching, even has a great little restaurant overlooking the rainforest past the riverbank. Very close to sodas and shops at the plaza. Would recommend!

Great property with its own frog garden that you have to check out. Breakfast was a little light for a hot made to order but it was free. Hotel within walking distance to other places to eat. But nice place to stay.

The front desk reception was EXTREMELY helpful when our transfer from La Fortuna to Monteverde failed to show up forcing us to lose 6 hours.

Très bien. Les seuls défauts sont le petit déjeuner qui n'est franchement pas très garnie, on a encore faim après. Et c'est le premier hôtel que je vais où il n'y a pas de bouilloire dans ma chambre. Sinon l'établissement et la chambre sont top J'y retournerai avec plaisir

Great view of the volcano from my balcony. Breakfast was great in the restaurant next to the river. The flowers and plants on the property were beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Staffs are very nice and very patient. breakfast is freash.

Great location in La Fortuna. Close to restaurants and shops and access to all tours. Lovely grounds with beautiful trees and flowers, plenty of birds and wildlife. Rooms a little dated but functional and clean. Breakfast a little sparse so was only aspect that let it down. However would certainly recommend.

Basic, well managed property, clean and away from the noise of the main avenue. It has a nice nature walk in the back which was a plus. The restaurant could be better, in fact I noticed this everywhere I stayed and ate in CR, a major disappointment as far as the cuisine. I get better CR food in Queens NY.

We had a 3 night stay, and overall it was very good. The house keeping staff were amazing, the restaurant staff however did not welcome guests or give the impression that they wanted to be there. The front desk staff were very helpful and kind. The building and surroundings are beautiful.

Un hotel pequeño y coqueto. Su estructura y áreas verdes son ideales para un descanso en medio de las diferentes actividades que hay para conocer la zona. Ubicado a unos metros del centro de la fortuna, permite tener acceso a diferentes tipos de negocios, restaurantes, supermercados, etc. Muy recomendable

La comida del restaurante es deliciosa y las atenciones de la joven mesera y la joven de recepción del hotel nos hizo sentir muy bien. Gracias por todo.

Very nice property, ideal to stay if you are going to spend the day out doing outdoor activities in La Fortuna

We enjoyed our stay at Monte Real. It was a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere to return to after a day of adventure. The room was clean. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the location of the restaurant, beside the river that runs behind the property. Staff were very friendly and professional. We would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay in La Fortuna at a reasonable price.
