A small and friendly hotel near the station with very helpful staff. There is no restaurant as such, but breakfast is offered as well as drinks and bar snacks.
We had a suite on the 6th (top) floor (there is a lift) with spectacular views. There is a mini fridge with bottled water and also facilities for making tea and coffee. Luxury toiletries are provided. The room had air con but also a large window in the seating area and velux windows in the roof which could all be opened. The bed is king sized and the shape of the roof did mean that it was a little cramped around one side.
There is a small supermarket just round the corner for necessities, and the hotel is within walking distance of other shops, the multitude of restaurants, and also the must see sights of the town and lake.
The hotel also provides umbrellas and bikes for the use of guests. The staff were all very friendly during our stay, English being spoken which was helpful.
