Demanded $100 security upon checking in late at night, then gave us a key that couldn't work. Once inside, the room overpowered you with chlorine, the floor had sand on the floorboards and the room was need of repair. Our bathroom door jambed everytime. The Fan was loud and we couldn't sleep so we had to turn it off and the sheets definitely were not fresh. We booked because of the good reviews and i can tell you these must be fake accounts.

This was my 2nd time staying at the Cobourg Inn, it is a beautiful property, rooms are very clean, staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Parking is right outside your room door, extremely convenient.

What I liked: This is a really nice motel. The property is well maintained and pleasing to the eye. Check in was relatively easy. Our room was very clean with very comfy beds. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker is a must for us and they did not disappoint.Most amenities are within a 3-5 minute drive. What I didn't like: The water pressure was good but I did get some fluctuating temperatures while showering. They had no working ice machine. Late check-in time of 4o'clock. $10 per hour for an early check-in.

Older hotel with older look but has been painted and cleaned up some, but not high end. It was clean and comfortable to sleep. Good value for price

They were very kind and helpful at check in. Linens and bathroom were clean and they had one of those covers on the mattress so it prevents BB and it was very clean. Unfortunately there was a used water bottle in the room beside the bed between the table so maybe some lack of attention by housekeeping. Window wasn’t locked so I recommend checking. We were able to park in front of our door. Cute little fridge in room, kettle and coffee maker (but Tim Hortons is only a 2 min drive away). Both right beside highway and convenient and safe.

Great little spot on the way to your destination

I liked the little motel. It was right off the highway, but away from traffic. There is a barbecue restaurant close by if you get there before 7 PM.

Nice little motel just outside the town. Quiet. The room provided what we needed. We would stay there again. Oh, we did on the way back!😊
