The staff were lovely but the accommodation was awful. Was told on check in they do not have twin beds (which I had booked)-single beds only. The floor and blanket had blood stains on them. Windows were cracked and did not close properly and it was absolutely freezing weather. Bins get emptied at like 5am every morning and it is incredibly loud (especially as my window didn't close). They were also renovating other rooms so the whole floor stunk of paint. I stayed on business and was so exhausted after work that I could not be bothered to look for another place short notice. Terrible room and would not stay there again. On a positive the pub itself is great, staff and food were lovely!

Figtree Hotel was a pleasant stay. The room had a bed, couch, small fridge, kettle, and TV, with a small bathroom attached. There was also a small wardrobe with sliding mirror doors. The noise was minimal, even with live music on Friday night. Don't book through the app! We got charged again at the hotel because the app didn't send our booking to the hotel, and a refund had to be sorted once we were leaving! Just call and make a booking!
