Lift out of order and as I am not able to walk far was a disadvantage Room far too hot some rooms had a fan but not ours. Bathroom door would not close which needed adjustment

Payment details had not been updated and was asked to pay again. Luckily I had my bank payment evidence. Room was tired with stained carpet, soiled bed linen, soiled sink, and hairs on toilet and surrounding surface. No one at reception on check out to discuss this with.

This was just a single night arriving late and out early so all I can say is that the hotel was clean and located close to the centre of Derby.

A deposit of £109 was taken out of my money and not authorised and not told an amount .. wasn’t happy and told me nothing was going to be taken out my bank when it did had to wait for it to go in .. amount wasn’t advertised as if it was I would t of bothered to book .. weird smell in room and do t think we will be doing back not the best

Staff were outstanding as usual, the room was a little dated and could do with a net curtain for outside privacy and a lighter light. But other than that wonderful stay.

First room window didn’t have a handle attached so you couldn’t close and lock the window. I raised at reception and fortunately they were able to move me to another room. The staff on reception were very nice and helpful. There’s plenty of parking around the back of the hotel and it’s free for hotel guests. The rooms are a decent size and include everything you would expect, although they could do with installing a few more electrical sockets. Even though it was November, the room was way too hot and I had to use the fan which was fortunately already provided. Overall it was a good stay for the price and the provided service was what I needed.
