Das Carlton liegt mitten in Tana und ist für den Start einer Mada-Reise super gelegen. Das Personal ist sehr gut ausgebildet und enorm hilfsbereit. Der Pool müsste wieder mal renoviert werden. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist etwas mager, und das Personal im Saal agiert mehr als Aufpasser denn als Gastgeber. Alles in allem, wir würden wiederkommen. Auf jeden Fall ein Zimmer in einer oberen Etage zum See hin buchen.

Laut Öffnungszeiten ist der pool vom 7.00 bis 19.00 Uhr geöffnet. um 7.45 Uhr war der pool noch nicht geöffnet und nicht gereinigt. Abgesehen von hereinfallenden Blättern, was ich nichta ls grosses Problem betrachte, ist die gesamte Umrandung des pools wirklich schmutzig. Dass Essen (Pizza) am pool ist kaum gneissbar und entspricht den Standrad eiens Pizza take away.

Very safe, secure and friendly hotel in Antananarivo. Bonus of having an ATM (Visa inly) and a french patisserie on site. Good with their airport shuttle service too.

My favorite is bathtub is available in Carlton.

All staff is nice and willing. Unfortunately the property itself seems to be left in disrepair. The worst part is the lack of a proper restaurant/chef: food quality is below par. Breakfast is appalling, very little choice and poor quality. Definitely, as it is now, not a 5 star hotel.
