Overall, a great experience. The private beaches are amazing! The bed and pillows were a little uncomfortable. Stayed in an Octogon room. The pillows were flat and hard.

We enjoyed our stay at Avila. The beach was nice, water was fantastic even good for snorkeling at the resort. Food and drinks were all wonderful. Bar tenders were a pleasure speaking with.

Beautiful hotel located in a perfect location! The grounds and beach so fantastic! We had a perfect room with views of pool and ocean! The staff was friendly and we enjoyed the food and bar! The music nights were amazing! So fun to sit on the beach at night enjoying! So many fabulous restaurants within easy walking distance!

This hotel took every expectation we had and blew them out of the water. The beaches were private, peaceful and pristine. The fosh and pelicans hung out right inside the bay- you didn't even have to go past the breakwater to have a great time snorkeling. The front desk staff and cleaning team were incredibly helpful and super friendly. The drinks were fantastic and the food was fabulous- especially in the Blues Restaurant. Our room in the Blues wing was gorgeous- breathtaking views of the sunrise/sunset. The balcony felt completely private. The beds were super comfortable. The walk in shower was great.

Location near downtown and on the beautiful beach

The view is beautiful! Staff are not very friendly or accommodating for a resort. Breakfast Buffett needs a little more variety. It was the same thing every day.

Pagar 600 dolares por uma diaria sem direito a café da manhã fica difícil. Os funcionários da recepção não tem muita boa vontade em ajudar nos. Nosso voo atrasou e chegamos às 22h no hotel e com fome. O funcionário da recepção disse que a cozinha fechava às 22h. Explicamos a situação mas ele não fez questão de ajudar. Não informou senha wi-fi, horário do café da manhã, horário do restaurante, etc.

Great resort!

Booked this hotel due to having the most amenities which it did and was clean. We're not very demanding travelers but had some struggles with the hotel remembering to clean the room, the front desk forgetting to mention that our late bags were delivered by the airport and when we arrived a day late the hotel automatically canceled the first day and booked us an extra day at the end thay we couldn't use. This extra day was at a much higher rate and they took this money out of our deposit so we had no recourse from being robbed by the hotel. Definitely buyer beware.

What a terrific stay at Avila. From the moment we arrived we had martini’s and we stayed at the Blues room on the water that was awesome. The restaurants were amazing with entertainment most nights. I can’t say enough about how much we loved this hotel and we’ve been to many islands and can’t wait to return.

Sandy clean beach and calm water were just great. Facilities are clean, room spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is fantastic. Staff is helpful and friendly. Very satisfied in overall.

I rarely leave reviews, but this place is spectacular. They make everything easy and enjoyable! From the beachfront restaurant (The Pen) to the on site snorkeling, every feature is well appointed. Beach chairs were always available, the resort never felt crowded in spite of it being full. We would return in a heartbeat!

Clean room, lovely building, friendly staff, good snorkeling, good location close to restaurants and to the town. Very safe and comfortable.

Zeer tevreden. Onze kamer behoorde tot de eenvoudigere kamers van het resort. De netheid en voorzieningen vonden wij voldoende. Door de geweldige weeromstandigheden is een lang verblijf op de kamer toch niet onze wens
