It was a great stay! I loved the laundry on site and kitchen access. I didn’t realize right away that the check in for parking was separate from checking in for the hotel. So we arrived and weren’t able to park right away. But we called the host, and he was able to help us get a parking space.

I didn't realize this is a hostle. The bed for two people is a double, a bit small. The public bathrooms are clean. The most disappointment is the communication with the host, and Expedia could not help. The host insisted to communicate with me in German and said that I can use Expedia to translate, which was impossible for me. I asked for parking, the host send me something looked like an website address and of course I couldn't go to the site. After many attempts, finally got it, but again, that is all in German. Since I arrived at the YellowInn, took over an hour to figure how to park my car. If you do not speak or understand any German, DO NOT SYAY THERE.

Ich war für eine zweitägige Weiterbildung in St. Gallen und das Yellow Inn hat meine Erwartungen erfüllt. Die Sanitäranlagen und das Zimmer waren sehr sauber, und die Lage war trotz der Nähe zu öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln angenehm ruhig. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt: Im Haus (Eingang/Küche) lag ein etwas seltsamer Geruch, der sich aber zum Glück nicht in den Zimmern bemerkbar machte. Die Einrichtung ist schlicht und zweckmässig, für Aufenthalte, bei denen man nicht viel Zeit im Hotel verbringt, jedoch mehr als ausreichend. Praktisch war der Kühlschrank im Zimmer, um das Frühstück für den nächsten Tag aufzubewahren. Hier wäre es hilfreich gewesen, wenn er bereits an den Strom angeschlossen und einsatzbereit gewesen wäre. Aus ökologischer Sicht ist es aber nachvollziehbar, dass er nur bei Bedarf eingesteckt wird.

Majoitus oli siisti, käytännöllinen ja siinä oli kaikki, mitä tarvitset lyhyelle viipymiselle.

Markus was delightful! The place was clean and comfortable. We were only there for one night, but we would absolutely stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

The whole experience was wonderful. Very clean and very comfortable. The host was friendly and made sure we had everything. There is a kitchenette on each floor and laundry machines on the upper floor. Each room has a mini fridge. (No freezers) The furnishings in the room are well done. The room photos online are legit and reflect how nice it is. There are quiet hours too, so we had a good sleep.

Excellent séjour, grâce à l'accueil de Markus qui fait tout pour que les hôtes se sentent bien. Chambre individuelle, toilettes et douches, facilités d'accès et échanges sympas sur nos voyages devant la mappemonde. Endroit cool, je recommande

I can’t rate this hotel highly enough. Simple, but with great communal facilities, friendly fellow guests, very very clean. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, desk and chair, wardrobe, clothes rail… Each room has big windows with shutters, lots of trees and birdsong outside. Marcus is a fantastic host, speaks excellent English and so welcoming and friendly. The hotel is in a quiet area but on a main road, east to get to and with excellent transport links. The hotel does not serve food or drink apart from vending machines (coins needed) but there are cafes and restaurants close by and food shops within easy walking distance. There are kitchen facilities on each floor, washing machines, dryers, and the ablutions are excellent.

Wir nahmen an der Modeschau Un-Dress 2025 teil, welche in einer der OLMA-Hallen stattfand. Das Hotel liegt super nahe. Wir fanden alles, was wir benötigten. Einfach super! Auch der direkte Kontakt zu Markus war schön. (Info im Voraus sowie promptes Rücktelefonat.)

Best hôtel weit und breit....

War schon ein paar Mal da. Diesmal waren die anderen Gäste laut. Das Hotel kann natürlich nichts dafür, war aber trotzdem mühsam. Dazu kommt, das ein Duschtuch nicht sauber war, das war echt grusig. zum Glück gab es zwei, das ich ausweichen konnte. Personal war und ist aber immer sehr freundlich.

Einfache saubere Übernachtung in St. Gallen zu gutem Preis. Dusche etwas kalt. Sehr sauber. Freundlicher Hausherr. In Hotel.com heißt es, man soll sich mindestens 24h vorher melden wegen Check in. Unnötig. Läuft ganz spontan via Mail.
