The hotel was well located in the town, but the sound insulation was not good and other guests could be heard in other rooms. The lack of overnight staffing meant that some guests could (and did) disturb others with impunity. There was no-one on duty to make a complaint to. Guests are given a mobile number to ring, but you don't want to be doing that at 2am! It seems dangerous the hotel unattended when guests are present.

Cheap and cheerful, excellent staff and very clean

Excellent stay, great location, lovely and quiet, comfortable bed and the such a great welcome. Owners and staff really cared about ensuring the quality of my visit.

I didn’t know you had to order the day before so on the day I wanted it I couldn’t , also I wasn’t told that my shower would be down the corridor , the manager was very accommodating and pleasant.

Street parking was easy and plentiful

Lady at check in and out was lovely, gave us extra tea and milk when I asked. Didn’t have breakfast so couldn’t comment. Room was lovely and clean. Being at south end of Scarborough is the best end to stop some lovely walking up and down the hill and close to the funicular lift if needed. We were able to park close to hotel on Granville street at no cost which is a plus to us .

2nd visit, lovely clean place, helpful kind staff, good breakfast, perfect for a nice break at a good price.

Friendly greeting at check in, room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very nice and plenty of other options to select if needed Nice and quiet which is just what we needed to regenerate our batteries

The room was clean, had everything i needed. The host waa very helpful and asked if there was anythinf she could get me. Very close to the beach and lift. Will be coming back.

From the moment we arrived check in was the start of excellent quality and fantastic service and breakfast was supreme. Next time we'll stay much longer. Thank you to the hosts. We'll pass on our recommendations absolutely 1st class.

What a lovely place, very clean and tidy, breakfast was brilliant £8 plenty to choose from cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, fruit juice fresh coffee and tea plenty of decaf coffee and herbal teas and of course full English The lady who looks after the place couldn’t do enough for us She was such a lovely person
