I had high expectations for this resort because it came highly recommended by family members who have stayed here several times. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing.
Upon arrival, our villa’s floors were dusty and dirty, and the pool was so cloudy that it did not appear safe to swim in. As a Florida resident, I know what a properly maintained pool should look like. By the time we checked out, the pool was crystal clear, which made it even more disappointing that my children missed out on enjoying it during our stay.
The villa also had several maintenance issues. The shower had little to no water pressure and often no hot water. There was a noticeable sewage odor throughout parts of the resort, especially in the shower area. The television did not work, and there was no remote control provided.
I was also surprised by the lack of lighting at night. The parking garage and walkways to the villas were poorly lit, forcing us to rely on our phone flashlights to get around safely.
This resort has tremendous potential, but the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall guest experience fell well below expectations. I hope these issues are addressed so future guests can have the experience that was advertised.
