Everything is average. Would have gone to another hotel. But they were sold out.

Supper in the dining room was terrible. They managed to ruin a hot chicken sandwich which I didn't thing was possible. Also service was very slow. The continental breakfast was fine.

Peu de choix dans le buffet. Assiette en carton et ustensile de plastique. La chambre était propre et accueillante.

We booked this property as an estimated half way point as we were traveling through Atlantic Canada returning to Central Ontario. The reservation was pre-paid and booked with a non-refundable condition. I received confirmation emails and messages through Expedia indicating the reservation and payment were confirmed. Upon arrival at around 9:30pm, I waited in line for the group who were checking in and had to complete the paperwork and pay and was then told the hotel overbooked, there are no rooms and I will have to find another hotel. When I asked why I wasn’t told much earlier when there was time to find another location, the employee said he sent a message at 9:09pm (about 20 minutes before I entered the lobby). There was no manager available to speak to and by the time I spoke with a supervisor at Expedia, there was nothing else available given the time of day and processed the refund. The hotel confirmed my reservation, took payment, and then left myself and my family, including a young child, with the options of sleeping in the car or continuing the remaining 1200km journey home, which is what we did. I would be cautious about booking here, particularly if you are in similar circumstances and will be arriving later in the day which could leave you stranded when there are no alternatives in the area. If a hotel cannot honor a reservation, don’t take payment and confirm everything is set.

Staff was nice. Room’s were clean but dated. Beds were way too hard. Continental breakfast was lacking.

The room is clean but the it is not well maintained. The whole hotel is full of strange smell which smell like some kind of spice. They had forgotten to provide bed sheet for the sofa bed. The free continental breakfast is not good. How can they provide instant coffee and hot water that full of lime scale floating with the breakfast?

I did not feel safe staying here, especially with my family. Some of the electrical outlets were left uncovered, which is a serious safety concern, particularly for families with young children. The property is quite old and appears to be poorly maintained. The bathtub did not drain properly, and the water remained stagnant for a long time during the use. The listing advertised that breakfast was included, but the only items available were oats and croissants. If you advertise breakfast, I believe it should at least include basic options such as eggs, sausages, bacon, or similar items. Lastly, this is a motel, not a hotel. It would be much more transparent if this was clearly stated in the advertisement so guests know what to expect before booking.

Room was clean. Breakfast was uninspiring - toast, cereal, yogurt, weak coffee, and hard oranges.

Even though the room was clean, it reeked of cigarette smoke despite being a non-smoking room. Staff was incredibly friendly, including the cleaning staff who gave us extra shampoos, and helped us quickly fix the TV that wasn’t working well. However, the breakfast left A LOT to be desired, with zero fresh coffee (only instant coffee available), and zero protein options like egg or turkey/deli meats.

Our room was newly renovated and large. However, the pullout couch was unusable. The pool was closed for renovations and the ice machine was broken. Breakfast had very little food, plain bagels, 1 muffin (literally), cereal and 2 types of juices. Coffee was instant and there were no eggs.

Pleasant stay

The room was clean, staff were very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was spacious and the food was very good. We enjoyed our stay there.

Place was nice. The restaurant was very worth it. The food was above expectations.

There are definitely upgrades needed. The lamp on the bedside table didn’t work, the toilet rocked on the floor (worried it was going to break), confusion at check-in but the staff was able to rectify it. The breakfast was very simple but I had to ask for yogurt, water for the kettle and tea other than orange pekoe. Would have been nice to have a green tea. The restaurant was not open for breakfast although we were told that it would be. I found the price too high for the condition of the premises. Needs a lot of TLC.

Suggest the text asking about the stay in the last day of stay should be later in the day. 0800 is too early
