Overall the hotel was great. Staff were friendly, great location, pool and rooftop terrace were beautiful. The aircon was very good and the toiletries provided were great. This main issue we had was the bathroom. The room itself is tiny so the bathroom is too. It’s not an issue as most of the day is spent outside of the hotel room. What was odd was the shower cubicle is completely glass and you can see into it from the room. This was awkward to stay in with a friend as I could see them showering. The glass is frosted but this doesn’t help. Just an odd design choice as there’s no privacy. The door to the cubicle opens to the incorrect side to where the hooks for towels are, so you have to leave the cubicle to get your towel, again no privacy whatsoever. Moreover in our room, the toilet door did not close properly, so had to use the toilet with the door slightly ajar. We did find the hotel branding to be quite strange. “Where the f*** city lives”. We don’t even know what this is meant to mean. Overall I would recommend this hotel but those minor tweaks should be improved.

Amazing stay. Our air conditioning was meh BUT we figured we were just being annoying Americans so we bought a fan instead of complaining. Next day the staff reached out to us to ask if someone could come look at our air panel, aka we think someone cleaning our room noticed that we might be hot and went out of their way to mention it to someone else. After that, incredible nights of sleep. Might be a silly thing to be excited about, but it clearly means that the staff is invested in the experience. Pool was great, the attached restaurant was delicious (plus I could use my laptop and work there!), and the rooms were well kept and functional. And lastly, the surrounding area is amazing. Great bars/restaurants around, super close to the metro, and walkable to anywhere.

Sehr angenehmes und sicheres Hotel mit sehr gutem Frühstück. Leider etwas eng zwischen der Dusche und der Toilette. Sehr gut auch mit dem Auto zu erreichen.

We had a great stay at Akeah. We loved the location, we walked everywhere through Madrid, only took the metro to go grom the airport to the Hotel and to take the train at the Atocha station - and there’s a metro station across the street from the hotel. The staff was very polite and friendly, breakfast was great. The hotel’s very clean and well decorated, the rooftop has beautiful panoramic views of the city and the sunsets are definitely worth watching. We would highly recommend and would stay there again, the only issue we had was with the room size - which is quite small. We missed more room to place our clothes. Aside from that, excellent stay!

Hotel bastante cerca del centro, sin embargo no recibi un buen trato del personal, entiendo el área de recepción pudiese estar limpio.

First day was fine, but the second day was terrible. They did not have the rooms cleaned properly. Towels for the pool were out before noon, and the rooftop bar was closed so headed downstairs for drinks and was told there weren’t enough cups. Truly wouldn’t recommend.

Very stylish hotel in a good location. Room was very clean with a comfortable bed. Rooms are (as advertised) very small. For a single person or a couple for a short stay acceptable but for longer definitely too less space. Shower is basically in the room and undortunately floods the floor outside. Inner courtyard view is nice (big graffity) but the light is on the whole night which makes it difficult to sleep with open curtains/window.
