HAB far exceeded my expectations, especially the staff and the facilities.

The hotel deserves a 3.7 out of 5, mainly due to poor upkeep and cleanliness. The carpets throughout the property looked dirty and neglected. Worse, the first room they assigned me had an active water leak on the ceiling with clear, visible mold growth around it. While the staff did address the room issue, the overall lack of deep cleaning and proper maintenance is a major downside.

Está en una muy buena zona, el hotel es muy acogedor decorado con muy buen gusto. El servicio del personal es increíble, el restaurantes delicioso. Es de esos hoteles, en donde te resuelven cualquier complicación, que tú tengas como turista.

Hotel bem charmoso e equipe muito educada e atenciosa. Tudo limpo e bom café da manhã, já que tem uma cafeteria própria com opções para os hóspedes.

Helpful staff, very good breakfast, nice room with good soundproofing. Very good neighborhood and felt quite safe. Short Uber rides to Monserrate and gold museum.

We recently stayed at this charming boutique hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The property has a wonderful atmosphere, the staff are exceptional, and the food was outstanding. Everyone we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making our stay enjoyable. It is the type of place that feels unique and personal, and we would absolutely return. A couple of things future guests should know: there is no elevator, and the stairs to the upper floors are fairly steep. The staff are very helpful with luggage, but this may be challenging for some travelers. Also, storage space is quite limited. For longer stays, we found it difficult to unpack and organize two large suitcases, as there is only a small closet and no bathroom storage. That said, if you're staying for a shorter visit, don't need much storage, and are comfortable with stairs, this place is fantastic. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back.

Excellent property and location and staff are amazing and very helpful. However only minor gripe was needing to ask more then twice to have someone fix the TV. Otherwise was a excellent stay again

Staff and Breakfast was great. The rooms look a little dated but maybe that's the way boutique hotels are. Again the service was great!

First room smelled like damp bar floor. We asked to switch. We moved to another room. It had a similar smell but more faint. It was black mold in the bathroom on the ceiling and around the sink. Items were missing from the mini bar the bins still had water in them from when they were cleaned. We asked to move again. This other room also has a bit of a smell, the vent in the bathroom was very dirty, the tv wasn't connected to internet, the down button on the remote didn't work, the shower handle was loose. Honestly the shared amenities were nice and there was attention to detail there and the staff was nice but the lack of detail work, cleaning and maintenance in the rooms was much below average.

Stylish hotel with functional, well-designed rooms and good fitness facilities, including weights, bars, running and cycling machines. The breakfast was excellent, with great coffee, fresh juice, and a wide choice of options including continental dishes, local specialities, and fresh fruit.

la limpieza y atención excelente, mi única queja sería que en la habitación la televisión estaba colocada sobre una columna en medio de la habitación, por lo que en varias ocasiones al tomar cosas del suelo y levantarnos chocábamos con la televisión, no es un acomodo muy estratégico

Highly highly recommend HAB. It’s prob one of the best (if not the best) boutique, full service hotels to explore Chapi Alto. Near a ton of restaurants, super walkable to the queer bars in the area and a complete vibe. Check out the room type you book — there are some with internal views and limited natural light.
