The room was very warm, the ac ran all night and still warm. The bathroom had a doorstop right in the middle of the floor when getting out of the shower (tripping hazard)

The cutest little boutique hotel in downtown Kimberly. Located in the perfect spot to adventure. The little details made the stay absolutely perfect - from tea, coffee and cookies whenever you want, to a wood fired sauna, this property is perfect. We had a few challenges with our keys during our stay but the staff is incredible and so helpful if you do need anything. Keep up the great work!

Good quality breakfast

What a gem! The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was great. Wonderful breakfast and the use of sauna was a bonus. We will definitely stay again if ever in the area. Many thanks to Elisa for the dinner recommendation and hiking information as well.

The property itself is beautiful. Unfortunately when I arrived late on a Sunday night I was told that the key cards didn’t work and you could only lock them from the inside and had to leave the door open (visibly open) if you left the room. I thought the situation would be repaired when I returned for my second stay three nights later, however, it was not! I was offered a $10 voucher for their restaurant which I could not use as I had a dog with me. It was very unnerving leaving my door open when I went out for a walk especially being a single traveller. To be nit picky the toilet was not flushed on the first night when I arrived and the last night of my stay the bar of soap was used and the soap dish was dirty. I thought the compensation could have been a slight discount on my room (for the door lock inconvenience).

Very nice hotel. We stayed for 2 nights in early June. Staff was very helpful. Lots of sitting areas for the guests to use. Wood fired sauna out side, E bikes free for quests. Breakfast was excellent. Too many other perks to mentions. Highly recommend it. Only negative is no elevator. So contact the hotel to make sure you get main floor if you need it

We had a great stay with a welcoming and friendly hostess. The included breakfast is outstanding with a variety of fresh and quality ingredients, a rare find these days. They have ebikes at their guests disposal. The on-site restaurant serves tapa-style food cooked by a chef in an open kitchen. The food was delicious. The hotel is walking distance to the pedestrian shopping zone and to the mine tours and a quick drive to the ski hill

Quiet, quaint boutique hotel in Kimberley. Very welcoming. Breakfast was excellent. Would love to go back for a weekend.

Breakfast was delicious. Fresh baked muffins and good selection of breakfast items.

Staff were very welcoming. The room was very comfortable except not having a window that opens made it feel stuffy. Breakfast is excellent with nice choices and 24hr access to tea, coffee juice and water in a downstairs area was a nice touch. There are numerous seating areas on different levels and great spaces to unwind and have a drink. Hotel is close to walking trails which is something we really liked. Parking is limited and on street, but we didn't feel it was an issue as long as all valuables are removed.

The hotel is nicer than the pictures can tell. It has so many lovely details such as a front swing, use of e-bikes for guests, common space nooks and crannies that are very pleasant to use, very clean rooms and comfy beds. The Larix raises the bar for boutique hotels. I look forward to returning!

Hotel was good,has a sauna outback and a wine bar . Room was clean and close to food. Breakfast the next day has to be from our place, really great

Overall fun and Cozy place to stay. Pro’s - super comfy bed and pillows - complimentary coffee, water, juice, and snack bar in the lobby - several sitting and lounging spaces around the property, inside and out. - staff was amazing and polite. - right by the Platza for food, drinks, and casual shopping needs - wood fire Sauna (did not uses) amazing amenity to have after a long day. Con’s - rooms don’t have refrigerators, microwave, or coffee - basic room was smaller then showed in pictures. - the Complimentary breakfast was overhyped from reviews. It was very basic and makes a best western breakfast look amazing. Nothing hot unless it’s the oatmeal or toast. No hot eggs, pancakes, or proteins. Some salmon and Black Forest ham served cold. This was a let down as heard from reviews and staff it was a great breakfast. -sound proofing was not great as we heard every door open and close and people talking in the hall. while cozy and fun. Would maybe stay again. Would definitely recommend probably as a group booking.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had family from holland here and were very impressed with the hotel. The breakfast had a lot of choice. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
