There was a pack of five dogs that mobbed you when you went out and in. The door was also left open and the dogs came into the pool area and even into the breakfast area when you were eating. The street outside was a dirt road that had much dog poop on it. The windows in the bedroom had large spaces and no screens, so we were attacked by misquotes all night. Also it looked like the dogs were drinking the pool water and even standing in the pool

It is like an oasis, we had a sea view room that was private and spacious. Enjoyed the swimming pool to cool off. Friendly helpful service

The hotel was quite rundown that bedding was stained and the shower was ice cold no hot water in the morning. Plus when I booked it was $60 Canadian and I was charged $60 American

The hotel is dated and i am sure was quite a hotel in its past. The staff was very helpful & courteous and did their best to make this right.

This was a trip to Puerto Cayo. Puerto Cayo is a very very very sleepy little village west of Jipijapa. You have to want to go there. There has to be a reason. Otherwise, most people head to Frailes or up to Manta. If you want quiet and no people -- not cars in the streets or motorcycles making noise, then Puerto Cayo is for you. It's a beautiful and empty 5 mile long beach. Maybe 20 boats out every morning looking for fish. Whales are littler yards away migrating up or down the coast. It's incredibly peaceful

A very clean property with good facilities at a reasonable price & within walking distance to the beach.
