Very old characterful hotel in the middle of March. Shops, pubs and other eateries just minutes away. Plenty of parking in the hotel's courtyard. Food good, plenty of choice and very good customer service and not to forget extremely dog friendly. My dog loved it. Thank you to all.

Spotless room, beautifully renovated, with 6 ft double bed, very comfortable. Excellent spacious bathroom. Fantastic value for the money. lovely obliging staff.

Shocked how great this place was as its so cheap. Food was amazing at a fantastic price. Drinks at a pocket friendly price for a change. Wish you was local I would come all the time cheaper than a weekly food shop. Staff all great nothing to dislike love to see someone getting right for a change .

Sunday roast not good

On arrival the service was brilliant, we were shown to our room - a large room with 2 single beds and a double sofa bed and not cramped at all! The hotel is old, but very clean. The music from the pub can be heard on their late opening on a Saturday, however, we got back late from a wedding and fell asleep through it, so didn't effect out stay. The breakfast was lovely and the waiter on both mornings was really cheeful. It also has free parking for hotel guests. We would stay again.

Big clean bed well, excellent quality bedding, well equipped room . Shower pressure was a bit weak, but overall very good value.

The staff couldn't be more helpful Tony especially during my stay was very welcoming. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom decent. All in all a good stay.

The hotel is convenient in the centre of town. The room was a good size and had all we needed for the night. The shower was problematic with the water temperature wildly changing from ice cold to scalding so it wasn’t the best shower experience. That said it was clean and we had a good nights sleep

Lovely location and staff, the bedrooms are pleasant however some car noise can be a litte annoying but this is not the hotels fault

The room was lovely, very spacious, immaculately clean. Staff were all so lovely and helpful. The pub downstairs is great for drinks and is open till late weekends with music. Will definitely be coming back.
