Comfortable hotel, nice restaurant , friendly staffs

This is a unique property in an area that is quite remote. The building is in good repair and our room was clean. There are 5 stairs to descend into the lobby but there is a side door I believe you could use if needed. Our request for a first floor room was honored. The pool is attached to the hotel; in order to get to it there are a number of stairs you need to go down. You can however drive to the parking lot in the front of the pool area to avoid stairs. The pool is also the area's town pool, and there is a community meeting space and gymnasium as well. If you're from the US, think YMCA. I accidentally crashed a local family's confirmation party for their son by wandering in from the hotel and they could not have been kinder. The pool is closed for some hours in the middle of the day. The hot pot area is only a few steps from the hotel right off the parking lot. The changing room hut is clean and well appointed. The hiking trails just off the parking lot are scenic. The game room is large and would be a great place to hang out on a rainy day. A kettle in a common space would be a welcome addition, or in the rooms. There is no readily available place to get a tea or coffee that I could discern other than the restaurant attached to the hotel, which I did not explore but was a fairly pricy place, not unusual for Iceland.

Rent rum,personal fantastisk,frukost bra, hot tub bra. Naturlig varm källa provades aldrig pga vädret. Vi är mycket nöjda.

Lovely staff and a beautiful remote location

Hotel very clean. Beds very hard but most are in Iceland. Breakfast was typical Icelandic but included. Very windy at this location. At the end of a large Fjord.

Room and beds were comfortable and clean. On site restaurant and feee breakfast were nice since closest available restaurants were not very close to hotel.

Amazing experience! Hiking trails at the resort, game room, creative arts room cimplete with piano, guitar, musical instruments, yoga room, that all if the family can pursue their interests then meet back up again at the tranquil pool and hot tub. The onsite restaurant is incredibly delicious. We were lucky enough to have a room with a view of the mountain and hot spring. Dala hotel is the place i will remember first when i think of my trip to Iceland!

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Schwimmbad, Billiard, Tischtennis und weitere Freizeitangebote. Schön gelegen. Ein Geheimtipp.

One night stay. Comfortable beds and quiet. Easy check in.

This place is a hidden gem in forest and next to a calm peaceful hot spring. The hotel is large, rooms are spacious and the staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed for one night and truly enjoyed it. Definitely recommended!

Ottimo servizio, personale gentilissimo; tanti servizi, alcuni da rimodernare. Bagno piccolo, solo un asciugamano viso nella camera doppia, letti comodi. Cena ottima e colazione buona ma ampliabile.

Dated property. We stayed in a family quadruple room which was spacious but very dated. Stained curtains and lots of dead bugs. Bathroom is quite small. The pool and hot tubs next to the property were nice and there are plenty of games rooms at the hotel room. The food at the restaurant was not good at all - braised lamb was so tough that it was hard to cut with a knife. The staff is helpful and accommodating. We stayed here due to the location on our trip around Iceland but wouldn't stay here again.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff. Room was very nice and clean, breakfast and dinner were both very good. Hot pot and walking trails directly in front of the hotel. Also very comfortable lounge room to relax. I highly recommend this hotel.
