This property was very clean, the staff were friendly and the bed was very comfortable!

The room was nice in itself, however the air conditioning unit was super loud... making a non stop continuous clunk clunk noise. I went to the front desk to let them know about the issue, and the owner and a handyman came by in half an hour but they only took off the cover and kicked it a couple of times and said they couldn't make it quieter and left. The motel was also fully booked so we were not offered another room. By bedtime the noise got even louder and so unbearable that we had to turn it off. It was too hot and none of us could sleep until the outdoor temperatures dropped in the middle of the night. I had asked if we could get a later checkout (that would have helped with the rough night of sleep) but was told that the cleaner was only booked until noon so we had to leave at 11sharp (the regular checkoit time). I again mentioned this all to the owner as she waited outside our room as we were walking out at 11am and was only given a measly sorry. I would NOT recommend this place if sleep is important to you.

This is a pet-friendly place and that is great for vacationers like us.

Great location near ferry

Very kind, great stay before we got on the ferry the next day. Rooms were very clean.

The Kow Inn was a clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay before catching the North Sydney ferry. It was nice to have the restaurant open all day so that we didn't have to drive anywhere.

The bed was comfortable, TV didn’t work, chair was unclean. Mentioned at checkout about TV and was told it works fine we just didn’t know how to use it. We didn’t really need it. It was fine for a one night stop.

This was an excellent motel very close to the Sydney ferry terminal. We stayed in Room 4 which was newly redecorated. I especially like the counters to put our things on.

The owner is the Chef and the food was a blend of East Coast favourites and commonly listed items. The dinner menu also had Asian dishes , all were very satisfying. Many tourists and residents just stopped in for the meals , since it's only about 20 minutes away from the ferry , along the Trans Canada Hwy, so very convenient.

The restaurant was not open when we arrived so I can not rate it. It was open at check out and there were a number of people dining there.

La habitacion en muy buenas condiciones. Ubicacion si no traes vehiculo es muy dificil salir de aqui no hay acceso a bus tendrias que caminar a un lado de la carretera no recomendado. Esta cerca caminando 100 a 200 mts una gasolinera y una tienda Robins para cafe, sándwich refrescos. El restaurante de aqui esta cerrado Lunes y Martes. Abren de 8 a 8. Pero si tienes en que moverte esta excelente y tranquilo.
