A very old hotel with charm but an old hotel. Clean with a great bed. Staff were helpful. On site restaurant was good for breakfast. Would stay again

We left something in the room and staff contacted us.

The room was clean but the mattress in the beds need an update. The carpet in the hallways was very dirty needs cleaning or replacing. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were wonderful. The staff in the bar was very good, the meal not so good. The windows in the bar need a good cleaning both inside and outside they were gross. The entrance and front desk areas could use more lighting it is very dark, it doesn’t give a good first impression.

Best breakfast we had at a hotel in a long time. Excellent portion. Delicious food. Beautiful presentation. Dining room is beautiful. Staff appropriately dressed. And my coffee cup was never empty.we did not feel rushed. This hotel has become our favorite place to stay in Corner Brook. Hotel has an old world charm. We love it there. Looking forward to trying the restaurant for dinner some evening.

A beautiful building with lots of character. It is right beside a great walking trail around the pond, dam, and brook. The dining room is spacious with lots of windows. A great setting to enjoy a tasty dinner.

Just a quick in and out stay. Arrived late, slept great, allowed a late check out so that I could get some extra work done - was a great stay.

Room was very clean. All areas were clean and very welcoming, including the grounds. Location was 10/10. We thoroughly enjoyed the lounge; menu, cocktails, live entertainment and Amber the server was fantastic! We had a noisy toddler above our room which was the only negative… next time we’ll ask for third floor. Will 100% stay here again!

This is a beautiful old building that has been thoughtfully restored. Some of the common areas could be cleaned a little better, but overall we were very happy there. The room was very good. The staff were very helpful, and the restaurant is classy, and has a good selection of breakfast choices, which tasted great! Homemade Hollandaise sauce and homemade baked beans (vegetarian friendly). Would definitely stay there again!

This is a 100 year old inn built to house the executives during the building of the paper mill in Corner Brook. It is charming and well-maintained. The room got very hot during the night and there was no way to cool it off. Other than that the experience was quite positive. We did not eat in the restaurant.

Check in was quick and efficient. Staff were friendly and attentive. Room was clean. Breakfast was only okay at The Carriage Room.
