Florum hotel is just a 25 minute walk to St Stephens cathedral. There’s a tram just outside which would take you there in 5-10 minutes but we opted for walking. Air conditioning worked brilliantly. Only downside is the bathroom. Good size but shower is over the bath and there is no shower curtain or screen, so water ends up over the floor and hand basin. Having said that, I would return. Staff member at reception when we checked in, was excellent. (Sorry, I can’t remember your name). Good area if a female travelling solo, felt quite safe.

The location was good and room was clean. However, the walls are paper thin and you have to slam your door to get it to latch. Between dogs barking in the hall and hearing everything in the rooms around me at all hours, plus a rock hard bed; I was sleep deprived. I didn’t interact with the staff much, but check in was good and the gentleman was very friendly. Breakfast was adequate but nothing great. Because of the thin walls and poor sleep, I would not stay again.

Great value right in the heart of Vienna

A very kind staff member helped us get an upgraded room because the room we were initially assigned smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Housekeeping had tried to remove the odor, but it was still noticeable when we arrived in the evening. Of course, it is not the hotel’s fault that previous guests did not follow the rules, and we appreciated being given a better room. Overall, the rooms were good. Some areas for improvement could be: * Fixing the light switch that was not working in my parents’ room. * Improving the cleanliness of the bathroom * Providing a larger trash bin in the rooms, as there was only a small one in the bathroom. * Ensuring that housekeeping checks the bed linens more carefully, as one of our beds had a stain on the sheet. The breakfast was okay, a little boring but we missed having cold cuts such as chicken, beef, or turkey. The only options available were pork products. Kitchen staff were also so nice. Finally, we would like to give special recognition to the young staff member with semi-length blond hair and a slim build who helped us. He was exceptionally kind, professional, and accommodating, and he deserves great praise for the way he handled the situation and ensured that our stay was comfortable.

We checked into a room that seemed fine. Dropped off our luggage and went out for dinner. Upon return we noticed many bugs crawling on a wall and ceiling. After a while a staff member informed us that we cannot move to another room as the hotel is full. We wanted to grab a room in another hotel however our kids already fell asleep as it was late, the staff member came with a vacuum cleaner to scoop up the bugs and proceeded to inform us that the stay will be covered for the night. Come to find out the next morning from the manager that we are not entitled to any compensation. Lesson learned, leave and demand a refund on the spot next time this happens. Don’t get mislead and lied to by staff. The dishonesty and the cockiness of the manager was worse than dealing with the bugs in my opinion. This place does not deserve a one star for service. Good luck to anyone having issues in this place.

The Florum Hotel is an excellent hotel. The manager Gregory made everything perfect, the staff, even the maids were incredible! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to have a perfect hotel experience. The breakfast is great, they have a bar downstairs, it is close to the Underground train, and the buses. I enjoyed my 7-day stay so much, I stayed another 10 days at the hotel, a total of 17 days. It was wonderful! I'll be back!!!

The hotel was ok, I cannot go any better than this. This is not a four star hotel in my view. The room was basic the curtains fell off the curtain rail everyday. You get one bottle of water in your room on day one and that is it. Along with a free bottle of wine. The coffee and tea wasn’t replaced and we had to go to reception for this but they only had one tea bag available. Our room was on the main road where the tram runs along which you can hear from early in the morning. Breakfast wasn’t worth the 20 euro per head price, would give this a swerve. Staff on reception were friendly and helpful. Just disappointed when we thought we had booked a 4 star hotel. This is more like a 3 star Premier Inn only one that needs a little TLC. Vienna on the other hand is great and well worth the visit.

One of the best hotel for me. I was travelling solo. My room was so clean and well maintained. Staffs were very helpful. They allowed for my luggage to be left in a storage room while I was on my excursion. A lot of shops and restaurants in the area.

Room was very clean and much larger than on pictures. Very friendly staff, good breakfast and coffee. Place is within nice walking distance ~30 min from opera and central area. But located in quieter area with lots of restaurants and coffee bars. Das Loft top roof is 10 min, must see Vienna at night place.

Really solid place to base out of when visiting Vienna. Short walk to public transit, lots of restaurants and shops near by, just far enough from tourist centres to not feel over crowded.

Las habitaciones están nuevas! Muy amplias. Solo los baños muy pequeños. Caminando 10 minutos llegas a la avenida principal de tiendas y restaurante y a la catedral.

This is a good hotel in city center. Very convenient and it has what you need. Rooms are nice and bright and clean. Only downpoint during our stay was breakfast. Opposite to the rest of the hotel the staff here was rude and selection of food was of poor quality. Steer clear and go across the street where a little breakfast joint has open most hours of the day
