All staff were friendly and welcoming...our room was very comfortable and clean. Shower was excellent Food was of very high quality and lots of it Recommend the Steak & Ale pie with Garlic Mash & Fish n Chips The local ale was lovely...and local gins and isle of wight whisky went down well. All in all a 10/10 experience from start to finish

We stayed for three nights on a business/ leisure visit to the Isle of Wight. Good, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Nice room with sea view. Would happily stay again.

Great stay at the Buddle Inn. Lovely accommodation, great location and brilliant food. Really appreciated the breakfasts on top of being a super place to stay.

Our second visit to the Inn, sorry to say that the accommodation showing signs of wear - bathroom floor taped up, not consistent with boutique accommodation. Good food excellent breakfast with first class service

We recently had the pleasure of visiting the Buddle Inn on the beautiful Isle of Wight, and we can confidently say that it is a hidden gem! Location-wise, the Buddle Inn boasts a stunning setting, nestled against breathtaking coastal views and surrounded by the natural beauty of the island. It's the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the scenery, especially with a drink in hand. The food and drinks were great. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, bursting with flavor, and showcased local ingredients. The wide selection of beverages, including local ales and ciders, complemented the meals perfectly, making for a delightful dining experience. The atmosphere was fantastic – warm, inviting, and vibrant. Whether you were inside enjoying the cozy decor or outside taking in the fresh air, there was always a lively element that made our visit special. What truly stood out, however, were the incredible people at the Buddle Inn. The staff were wonderfully attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was memorable. They were especially welcoming to our dog Della, treating her with the same kindness as their human patrons, and often even better.

Lovely warm welcome,having arrived on foot as we were walking around the island. Room newly and nicely decorated and very clean. Biscuits in room and coffee machine were nice extra touches. Excellent menu choice for breakfast . Evening meal choice also good and nicely cooked. We loved the sea view from the bedroom

Lovely location and staff. Great food too. Bus stop is outside the front which takes you to Ventnor. We even had perfect weather

Car park opposite the inn. Easy to find a parking space.

Cannot fault our stay here. Beautiful room, comfy bed, good shower. Staff were all really friendly. Breakfast menu had excellent selection plus you could ask to change bits. All fresh cooked, amazing food. We ate there a couple of nights too and food is very reasonable and excellent quality. Easy distance for all attractions.

We had a lovely stay at the Buddle inn, all the staff were welcoming and very friendly, the room was top class and roomy with a comfortable bed and a large en suite. Tea and coffee, biscuits and water provided in the room. We really enjoyed our time here and would definately come again.

Room very tastefully appointed, and comfy bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Good cooked breakfast but evening meal expensive and not good value -mariners seafood pie had only a few tiny pieces of salmon!

Comfortable room nice bathroom with walk in shower. Plenty of car parking. Good choice of freshly cooked breakfasts. Quiet area with sea view from our room. Access to rooms via outside steps could be improved. Large outside seating area. Evening menu good but for us the portions were too big and there were no lighter options

Lovely one night stay in this characterful, olde worlde pub, which has undergone recent refurbishment in a very sympathetic manner, therefore the pub itself, rooms & bathrooms are modern with lovely decor. We received a very warm welcome and all the staff we met were very helpful & accommodating. Rooms are accessed via a separate entrance (due to age of the property steps & paths are a little uneven in places) Very clean & spacious (our shower was huge) with lovely sea views. Well stocked tea/coffee tray including water, sweets & biscuits. Large fan for hot weather was very welcome. Communal hallway leading to rooms had wellies available for guests to borrow & a bookcase with lots of local information. We had lunch, evening meal and breakfast during our stay. Excellent menu & everything we had was of good quality and enjoyable, as were the drinks. Really enjoyed the jug of Pimms on the lovely outside terrace/garden area.
