Wonderful staff and MOST responsive❗ This hotel is a real “price performer.”

The airport shuttle was great. Hotel is only a few minutes from the airport and the driver was waiting for us to arrive. The staff was very friendly. Room was very clean and huge. The only problem was the bar upstairs which had loud music until late. The staff told me the bar is closing in a month so once they do that I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed in Addis Ababa for two weeks. During my stay in Addis Ababa, I also traveled to several other cities. The hotel was very helpful and allowed me to store my luggage in their luggage room for almost a week. They also did my laundry before I left for a domestic flight within Ethiopia. Unfortunately, one of my T-shirts was lost during the laundry service. However, after a couple of days they found it, and I received my T-shirt back clean and in good condition. My only feedback for the Bentark Hotel would be to add some finishing touches to the rooms. The walls in my room had a few unfinished paint areas, and some corners looked slightly damaged. Overall, staying at the Bentark Hotel was a very nice experience. The staff members were extremely friendly and helpful, and I would definitely recommend the hotel to other guests planning to stay in Addis Ababa.

The bathroom shower head needs to be fixed.

Staff was great and accommodating especially the Bezawit at the Front Desk went above and beyond to check me in early in the morning when I checked out of the nearby hotel as their elevator was not working and I didn’t like to stay there anymore. She was pleasant and offered me a lot of helpful information about the area and hotel amenities. I would give the hotel a solid 4.5 star. Everything was working, modern and well-kept. Breakfast was great too. I would definitely stay there every time I go back to visit.

Small but beautiful hotel close to the airport with hotel transfer, Wii, and free breakfast.

Mediocre plumbing - no shower cubicle sealant so water washes all over the floor, sinks plumbed in at an angle so no drainage, and other plumbing is amateurish. Breakfast okay, very convenient to airport.

I am impressed by the hotel staff’s performance, room cleanliness, breakfast, airport shuttle service were excellent when I stayed for a month the same hotel & room. I highly recommend to others very highly.

This hotel is a good fit for it price The room I stayed in the curtains were a bit smaller than the size of the balcony doors 😂 but overall it’s a nice location.

Breakfast was NOT fresh, staff was very good and Airport shuttle was extremely good.

The location was great and the staff was wonderful. The shuttle service was on time and the staff accommodated our need to have an earlier breakfast. There was no air conditioner so the windows had to be open for fresh air which made for loud street noises into our room. The tv had few Chanels and I never found an English one. The shower had no door so the water went onto a lot of the floor. The rain head shower was broken and water poured out one of the sides. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety and nicely presented.

We had an excellent 22-day stay at Bentark. The management surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade, which made our stay even more comfortable. All the staff were kind, helpful, and always ready to assist. We truly appreciate their hospitality and support during our stay. Bentark is a wonderful place to stay, and we highly recommend it to both families and solo travelers.

The room was spotless and the hotel staff was professional. The breakfast buffett was a full service buffett. No complaints except for the location.

A strange guy came in my room and was trying to climb on my bed while I was sleeping!!! I yelled at him who are you , how did you access my room!!? He said oh sorry I got into wrong room. Hello, isn’t that each room card could not access another room?? Then he kept making excuses, asking are you staying here tonight , you are handsome and still refused to leave!!! I yelled at him None of your business , that’s my room !!! And then I opened the door shouted at him “ get out!” I explained such terrible issue to the hotel but they looked like not surprised , telling me “oh “ that was a family room before, sorry. Meaning it happened before but they didn’t replace all locks with problems! Safety would be a big concern!

Breakfast had good variety and was delicious. Airport pickup and drop off was great.
