Staff members were very helpful from receptionist to the valet staff. Check-in was fast and efficient. The room and the bathroom were clean and spacious. It is walkable to the river.

Loved our experience and location. Wander coffee shop and staff were amazing. Would have been extremely helpful to know that valet is the only option. We spent 30 minutes trying to find parking and then dragging our luggage over. There wasn’t enough or appropriate bedding for the pullout couch even though I booked for 3 people

Dispute at check out with extra taxes. We asked for a detailed price breakdown at check in and was told this was not possible at this time.

Nice hotel downtown. Butler offer an extra bed but never returned to the room.

Our room was a very nice with 3 rooms plus the bathroom. Very clean and comfortable. The hostess at breakfast was helpful as she guided us through the layout of the food set up. Check out was quick and easy.

Everything is fantastic, room is awesome, all the stuff are very helpful , breakfast is lovely and the price per night is reasonable. Me and all of my friends, we just love it.

Good location (wish the building next door looked less dirty - the hotel could put a suggestion I guess). Breakfast was standard but clean. The rooftop was beautiful. Staff was nice overall.

the room was spacious with microwave and fridge in room. Bathroom was very clean and everything functioned well. Wish there were grab bars in the shower. Also, the hotel implemented cleaning every other day. On the non-cleaning day, it's hard to get request filled, such as getting extra tissues. Very centrally located and is two blocks from the Bow River.

Said they upgraded and wasn’t better also, No Mountain View. When we checked out, we were waiting for our vehicle from valet. He went past the hotel and parked it in the back alley behind the hotel. He left keys at front desk while we stood outside waiting for him to come back. They did not bring keys out or let us know where it was. We had to go to front desk and ask where our vehicle was. The response was “sorry we forgot to tell you” Also, when we arrived we asked where parking close by was, they said only valet parking, only to discover that there is a pay parking lot just across the street by the hotel which would have been much better. We are very disappointed for the price we paid for the hotel. Staff seemed to be friendly but not super competent.

We had a great stay at Element Hotel Calgary Downtown. The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent. They made us feel welcome throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Calgary!

The room was spacious and well appointed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The full breakfast buffet was a pleasant surprise - and food was fresh and plentiful. The area is a little distance from downtown activities - but we enjoyed the river walk into the tourist areas.

Enjoyed a night here for my birthday. Everything was clean and staff were very helpful. The location is great too, very walkable, and close to the park. Had supper at the in-house restaurant and it was delicious. We'd definitely stay again!
