Central Motel Mooloolaba

Walked in to room and instantly smelled drain stink from bathroom. Seems there is something wrong with the plumbing. Were advised of a separate 'community kitchen' for patrons; There were no forks and only 1 knife.. There was a light outside the unit door which was on ALL BLOODY NIGHT! Curtains couldn't block light making it hard to sleep. Parking was an issue as driveway was extremely narrow and sharp turning was required. Towels went collected nor was Tea, Coffee, Milk, etc replaced. Owner knocked on our door with a new client with him, and asked why we hadn't left..... however we had another night left, booked and paid for!! Front gate to main entrance was supposed to be closed at 7pm. We stopped traffic to try and turn in at 615pm and GATE WAS ALREADY SHUT!!! The Motel is a dogs breakfast. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Amenities were missing, small freezer no fridge. No instructions for complex microwave. cooking was interesting

This is probably the worst Motel which I have stayed at. The room was clean, but very unkept and old. The pool was mossy on the edges and very uninviting. The only thing going for it was the bed was comfy.

We enjoyed the quiet, clean room. The staff were extra helpful and the location is excellent, on one side it’s a short walk to the esplanade, on the other side a scenic short stroll to The Wharf.

Place run down shower terrible TV can nor get a lot of channels

Checked in late. Had to use back Entrance. Which Had no signage. Next to a loud busy hostel. Had a tv in the room with no channels. It’s almost like they forgot to pay the paid tv. And it didn’t even have your standard channels. Not worth $120 for the night. Would not recommend

Woke up to loud industrial noise at 7am. Fixing something in the adjoining wall, called management and was told ' sorry theyll be done soon'. Come back at 11am and theyre still going. Very cold rooms, insufficient blankets. Shower curtain is a joke. Water goes all over the floor and is a health and safety issue no bath mat. Walls are paper thin so you know exactly what your neighbours are up to if you get what i mean. Definitely wont be staying and wont be recommending this to anyone ever wish the refund policy was different, Definitely wouldve preferred to stay else where for our second night.

Basic room & comforts (heating/aircon upgrade soon). Good location within walking distance to most shops, restaurants, clubs, beach etc.

Everything is run down, very minimal in every aspect. Noisy location, terrible access from the road, gate shut at 8pm each night. We needed to phone reception mid afternoon Sunday to get checked in & our details were written on a scrap of paper, excess noise from neighbours partying both nights, rooms have no soundproofing, we were woken many times during the night by the man next door snoring. Curtain rail falling off wall, accumulation of pest droppings in window. No water pressure in the shower, old worn blankets, no cutlery with tea & coffee.

It was great, though the led lights flikkered all the time they were on, otherwise we had a very comfortable stay.

We stayed here to go to Elton concert, it was a short walk to the bus. Very convenient

Great location 10 minute walk to Mooloolaba beach and close to shops. Facilties are little old but for the price you pay - cant complain!!! Would stay here again

Good location. No shampoo or other bathroom products bar a small block of soap. Large gap under the front door allowing bugs in. Light outside the room was on all night and couldn’t be switched off. Bed was uncomfortable and I could feel the inner springs. Curtain was old allowing light in. Fridge made noise all night.

Easy access, what you’d expect for the rate. Staff were helpful

My son arrived on our door step unannounced. As we were doing reno's we didn't have a spare bed. Central Motel was very clean, afordable, close to shops and buss routes. My son ended up staying for four nights. Staff was very friendly

We booked very last minute and accommodation was scarce. Room was clean, functional and comfortable and better than I expected for the price. My only comment would be that the shower curtain could have been replaced, was clearly pretty old. Great value for budget accommodation.
