This hotel is super close to NYU Shanghai. If you're visiting someone at the school, then this is the place to stay. There are street food vendors close by (yummy food), and a Family Mart just a short walk away. The Metro is about a 10 minute walk.

Because there were a big group booking, I end up got a free upgrade to the executive floor. Walking distance to Lujiazui Financial district and subway station. New York University Shanghai Campus and Shanghai Future Exchange Center are just across the street from the hotel.

I would come back and stay at this hotel. It’s located about 40 minutes away from Pudong airport and located at a quite location. Staffs are nice but not very well English speaking. I asked for more drinking water and the lady ended up didn’t charge me (although the front desk said there’s additional charge). The concierge is very patiently helped me find a tour (although sometimes he got distracted trying to help other customers). It’s not his fault but Chinese customers don’t know much about waiting on their turn. You may find annoying sometimes. I ate twice at the hotel dining and wantan (雲吞湯）soup is not bad.

Dont let the outside fool you! The worst thing is that there was black mold in the shower. It looked as if they haven't dusted in a year. I asked to change rooms and the second one wasn't any better. The air conditioner didn't work well, it would come on but not cool. The manager said it was because it was old and the whole hotel was the same. Also no rooms with double full size beds!! The worst hotel experience I have ever had.
