La Flore

La Flore is close to downtown Nice and walking distance to the old town Villefranche Sur Mer. The room is very nice and clean. The staffs of the hotel are kind. Highly recommend.

Dear Hotel La Flore Management, I would like to begin by saying that your hotel is very beautiful and welcoming, and we truly appreciated the atmosphere and comfort it offers. However, I regret to inform you that we experienced a very troubling incident at the reception during our stay, which left us feeling unsafe and uncomfortable. Upon arrival, during check-in, the receptionist forgot to return our passports. At first, this did not seem like a major issue, as we assumed we could simply collect them later at the front desk. However, when we returned, the receptionist who had checked us in was no longer there, and two other staff members were present. They both insisted that the passports were not at reception. I insisted that they call the person who had originally checked us in. When they did, I witnessed suspicious behavior between the staff. Specifically, I saw one of them hide the passport in her clothing while asking me for my room number. A few moments later, while my mother and I were still waiting at the front desk, one of them went up to our room and placed the passports on the table inside. She then came back and told us that the original receptionist “knew nothing” about the passports. It was clear to me that this was an attempt to cover up the mistake of not returning our passports during check-in, but what I found truly unacceptable was the way the staff made it appear as though we already had the passports in our room. Second time staying in this very friendly hotel with beautiful views down to harbour .Lovely balcony , good breakfast.Easy 10 minute walk to lovely old town/ harbour/ beach/ restruants .

Wonderful room with a beautiful view

Reserve parking well in advance. We had a room with sea view big balcony. The best view we ever had. Well worth extra. Had picnic dinner every night. Food store "Casino" just across the street. Hotel has a nice pool. If you want to go to the beach though keep in mind it is well below. Long way down and hard climb up. It is located to the left of the hotel. Unlike Nice it is sandy (big improvement). If you have to leave very early in the morning make sure to keep with you a white card to open the gate.

Amazing view of the bay from our 2nd floor window, large room and bathroom with both a shower and tub. Less than a 15 minute walk to the main beaches and restaurants and even closer to many shops. The street was quiet, as it was not right amongst the restaurants, and the pool and its view were amazing as well. Only complaint was a strange sewer smell that would come and go from our shower/bath room, once we kept the bathroom door closed you could not smell it in the rest of the room.

The hotel was fine for a short stay, but nothing particularly charming. Reception staff was correct but not especially friendly, and the pool was very basic. On the positive side, the parking was very convenient, although it came with an extra cost.

We loved our stay at La Flore. The room was perfect, huge bathroom, bed facing the terrace and sea! It was super clean and using the pool after a long day in the sun was amazing. Our terrace view was stunning, we sat there for hours watching the bay. I would move in here!

We had a lovely stay at LaFlore. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The setting is beautiful , the room was very comfortable.

Wish we could have stayed longer

We really enjoyed our stay at Le Flore Hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was on a more tranquil area of the village, but still only about 5-10 minutes walk from the old town and seafront where the restaurants and shops are. The pool area was superb! When the public beaches are too crowded, it’s nice to relax conveniently by the hotel pool. The room was completely air-conditioned, which is essential during the summer heat. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming and everything worked super smoothly and without a problem - can highly recommend this hotel for everyone visiting Villefranche-sur-Mer :)

Underbart hotell, bra restaurang och poolområde.

Havde et skønt ophold på La Flore. Smuk udsigt, god beliggenhed, dejlig pool og terrasse imødekommende personale. Lidt problemer med afløbet på badeværelset men det er småting.

Great location and view. Nice, clean, and a great staff. Marianne makes the best fried eggs! If you care for nice, clean and quiet, at an affordable rate, it's worth investing in the room with the view.
