I discovered that bathing products didn't be renewed, one-third of conditioner is being used and left with some white dried conditioner. Disgusting dirt was unclened around the garbage bin in washroom. Floor near bathroom got moudly. I couldn't expect these happened in a 5 star hotel. Hotel do need to be reconditioned, obsolete impression. Other than that, view of acropolis was great, staff were nice, breakfast buffet tasted average

his hotel looked much prettier in the pictures than in reality. As someone used to basic four-star hotels in the U.S., I would rate this closer to a two-star property. The biggest issues were the bathroom plumbing and the comfort of the bed. The bed was extremely low to the ground, which made it uncomfortable and awkward to get in and out of — even for someone in their early 30s. The bathroom had a persistent odor, with sewage fumes coming up through a floor vent. Since there was a glass door and no proper ventilation, the smell spread across the entire room, which made it hard to spend much time inside. Service was minimal at check-in — efficient but not warm. On the positive side, the breakfast was excellent. It was made-to-order, and the women working the buffet were very kind, going out of their way to serve guests even at the very end of breakfast hours. That was definitely the highlight of our stay. The location was decent, about a 15-minute walk to some attractions like the castle, though it may be far for travelers who have mobility issues. It was close to shops and food options, including a Starbucks. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless you plan to spend very little time in the room. It wasn’t the worst experience we’ve had, but it definitely wasn’t a comfortable or relaxing stay.

Location, staff and breakfast are the best! the room is small, and the open closet contributes to the clowder, extra-large shower for the size of the room, but really nice. Overall, the room was clean and cute but small. The Staff was great and the breakfast amazing!

Great property! The breakfast was extraordinary! The room was quiet, the beds were comfortable and the room was cool in the hot summer.

The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because the rooftop bar/restaurant is closed. Everything else about this hotel was amazing! Wonderful staff, clean room, quiet inside and out. Easily walkable to the Acropolis. Great food nearby. Seriously a stellar place. They even gave us a bottle of wine and yummy treats to eat. Highly recommend.

Stayed here June 2025 for 3 nights. Great location. Nicely appointed and the food at the hotel restaurant for both the breakfast buffet and even dinner were exceptional. 5 minute walk to Acropolis Museum and Acropolis entrance. Highly recommend would absoluely stay there again.

Location is amazing. Rooms are small and I didn't get VIP upgrade or any additional amenities. They did give me a late check out which was 12:30 instead of 11:00 The GYM Is horrible...

Ayant vu naître cet établissement, j’y ai séjourné à plusieurs reprises en été, à Noël, toujours avec un réel plaisir d’y revenir. Cette semaine fut une déception totale, le roof top est condamné, l’hôtel devant détruire les deux derniers étages pour construction illégale en terme de hauteur. La piscine en sous-sol qui était remarquable est définitivement fermée. La connection wifi dans la chambre est de très mauvaise qualité. L’esprit Coco-Mat instigué par Paul Efmorfidis a complètement disparu, cet endroit était vraiment différent des autres hôtels de Athènes, il est hélas maintenant quelconque et surtout pour le prix excessif d’une nuitée, vous pouvez trouver maintenant beaucoup mieux ailleurs. Un grand bravo au personnel qui essaie de palier à cette lente agonie hôtelière en instiguant sa bonne humeur et son professionnalisme.
