Panda's Hostel - Moment

Actually it was clean and nice, but for 2 person it's too small, the bed are small and the room it self is very small. It is a good thing that they clean it every day. But, the maid disposed my coffee which I left on the table in my room (i bought it at McDonalds and save it for the afternoon when I am back). The check in was difficult too, on the website says the check in building is at comfort building, so we went there, asked the security, he said panda hostel aren't there anymore and he don't know where they moved, but he gave us the number. I called the number, a lady pick up and we had a conversation but she wasn't friendly, maybe that's how Hong Kong people speak but she should be more friendly since it's a hospitality business. She asked my email and I should check it, but no email arrived. While we were waiting, a man approach us and trying to help us, he even asked his friends where is panda hostel. Then he showed us the next door building, so we checked it. On the door is a poster how to check in by ourselves (there is an email address) and the room looks like no one inside (it was around 7.30 pm, I think the check in place is closed at 7 so we need to check in by ourselves. I called the lady again, hardly to understand her, so I just send her an email of our booking and identity. Someone wrote us back with the address of the room, the pin to get into the flat and the QR code to scan to open the room door. It wasn't so far but difficult to find (Windsor Mansion) because the entrance was small and shady, didn't expect it like that. So it was our first time check in online without meeting a real person. It felt unsafe because anyone can book a room there. Luckily the room was clean, there is a coffee/tea maker (but no free water, coffee or tea) and a hair dryer in the room. Even a TV which we never used. There are two towels, shampoo and bath soap, toothpaste and brush, tissue and two slippers. But sadly it was so small, I saw the other room, it looked a bit bigger? I don't know if it has a different price. For the price I pay for this hostel, I could get a better hotel, I got a much better room at Silka Seaview hotel for the same price! Conclusion: hostels/guesthouses in HK isn't always cheaper that a real hotel.

Great hotel. Very quiet, the building is not crowded and the service was quick (check in and check out). Will stay here again when we go back in Hong Kong. Will recommend to my friends.
