这家酒店真的好大好大，而且装修相当精美，像个城堡一样，随处可见的艺术品增添了极致高级的格调，客户经理还会在大堂弹钢琴，宽敞的露天泳池和丰盛摩登的餐厅以及这里的一切都太令人难忘，住在这里感觉自己就像是一个贵族一样，太有感觉了！强烈推荐这家酒店！ 唯一的缺点可能是房间吧，开始给我们的房间没有窗户，后来换了一个有窗户的但是是连通房，和隔壁靠一扇门挡着。这种设计真心反人类，导致隔音很糟糕，但是在印度又很常见，希望酒店能把这些门拆掉改成实心墙。

Nice hotel staff that are very helpful, room is big and with pool view. A historic hotel and many interesting decoration. Foods are also very good. A pleasant stay option in Chennai.

1. A/C could have been better 2. The Verandah staff seemed racially biased towards foreigners than Indian guests, which didn’t look good. I was ignored, no napkins at the tables, no one checked in if I wanted to get any omelette or dosa, both at dinner and breakfast buffet. 3. Raintree staff and poolside staff were great. I stayed at Leela palace just before here and I can see why it’s better to stay there than here.

Excellent check in and service. Could extend the stay for some hours due to a late flight, with ease.

A great place to stay in Chennai, couple of good points and one downer. Overall it felt slightly a business hotel but with alot of colonial heritage. It had a nice (though hot pool) to relax at, more importantly it had an amazing restaurant called Rivertree tucked away that has delicious tasting menus and not too pricey. Go there. The downer wa a the check in. Knowing we’d land at 05:30 we advised them of this and booked an early checkin (by 10:00), we arrived at 06:30 and did checkin formalities and they kindly let us take breakfast and hang around. Sadly at 10 no room was ready and they tried to deny confirmation of early checkin. After frantic activity a room was found (slightly better than booked) by 11:00. When you tired from a flight you don’t need this, and if we’d been advised it wasn’t going to happen we wouldn’t have hung around and would have gone out to the beach and waited. On top of this they still charged us full whack for the early check. A bit of a sour note on what could have been a lovely stay with v friendly staff.

They are giving a best hospitality front office Manager the lady is Best I can’t remember her name And the Bar Staff Stephen and Chandra Look after us very well and restaurant staff I can’t remember all the staff name they are brilliant I will visit again

First time staying in Taj properties were not a disappointment. Service was impeccable, the restaurant verandha was amazing for breakfast. We did spend some time at the bar in the ground floor, the lady who was singing that evening just killed it!!! Good bar food and decent cocktails.

Painful stay

Very clean facility but quite a bit of mosquitoes inside the room inspite of air conditioning. That is something management needs to look at. For the charges being levied that should be addressed.

Very efficient and friendly service

The bedrooms needed an upgrade, the flooring in my room had certainly seen better days. The breakfast provided for an early departure was extremely low quality.

The service was excellent and the building was beautiful and clean, the food was delicious.
