The hotel staff were very pleasant and always helpful. They knew just enough English for us to communicate what we needed. Breakfast was good and gave us one less meal to worry about. The laundry room can get crowded so you may want to plan ahead if you have an extended stay. Laundry unit were cash (100 yen only) as well

The staffs were nice and helpful. They listened to my broken Japanese patiently and helped me a lot. However, the fridge in my room did not work well in the system furniture, which I've seen in comments elsewhere. The fridge would work better if you keep the wooden door open to let out the heat, though.

The room cleaning service was like a joke. Only replacing towel and rubbish bin while my bed sheets remained dirty. The room was so noisy with some machine sounds every night. Not reasonable for sleeping. However, the room size was very good and I like the bathroom.

Great 3-night stay at Kyoto. Check-in was very smooth and the property was very clean and I liked the traditional tadami style. Location was very close to subway/bus and was easy to get to the major locations. Definitely recommend for visiting Kyoto.

Most comfortable 3-stars i ever had. My stay was 2 nights. It was a deluxe 2-bed room, and it felt like a 4-star hotel experience. Breakfast was amazing with Japanese cuisine and every day the breakfast was slightly different, which was exciting, there were many plant-based options as well. The lobby offers a wide range of amenities.

Hotel Henn Na Premier hat uns gut gefallen, das Zimmer war zwar eher klein, aber sehr sauber und an guter Lage. Das Frühstück war OK, mit täglich wechselnden Speisen. Schwierigkeiten gab es nur zu Beginn, Google Maps führte uns zu einem anderen Hotel mit gleichem Namen. Offenbar kennt Google das Hotel nur unter seinem alten Namen "Watermark". Zu bemerken sei, dass es keinesfalls ein 4-Stern Hotel ist.
