Lovely ryokan. We didn’t take the meals, and they were served in a dining area, not in the room. But the staff informed us of the early closing hours of locals restaurants and izakaya, and they booked tables for us at both, which was very helpful.
They picked us up and dropped us off at the bus stop on arrival/departure.
The room was spacious, very clean, with a large window looking out over the forest.
I really loved their onsen which is on a balcony, looking at forest and the night sky, it was a mild temperature, not as hot as many onsens, but very nice.
The staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Onsen hopping in Kurokawa Onsen was one of the trips highlights.

ご飯もおいしいし部屋も綺麗ですごくよかったです 接客も感じよかったしとてもよかったと思いました ただ露天風呂が階段みたいになってて 風呂の色が茶色ぽいので下が見えないて危ないと感じました

チェックインでの対応はよかったですが、料理が残念でした。
事前のやりとりではプライベート感のある食事処とのことでしたが、部屋を簡単なブラインドでくぎっただけでした。部屋を出るときも他のカップルのテーブルのすぐ横を通らなければならなくて、、、
団体客がいてにぎやか
食事処は寒くて他の方も寒いと言ってました。
ご飯は出てくるスピードは遅めです。
最初に頼んだ飲み物も他のテーブルの方たちはずっと待っていたようでした。
ただ、馬刺しとヤマメの焼き魚は美味しかったです。

Kurosawa Hot Springs is well known in Japan for its good quality hot spring water. This inn is located at right in middle of town and parking is very convenient. They have good quality food for dinner and breakfast. It is not 5 stars but it is pretty good cost performance. Besides it’s main hot spring bath, they have 2 private baths if you want privacy or have tattoos. Room is small and very average but it has a great view of mountains.
