離來宮車站很近，但是因為有坡度，還是建議搭計程車進入飯店(約700日圓)，(若到熱海，站比較大，約1100日圓)，飯店人員超nice!一進門行李就被提走，因為是女生而且手提，害我們超不好意思，但是她仍然堅持要提，房間就跟照片一樣舒適，很有日式的感覺!重點是頂樓的露天溫泉!雖然很冷，但一泡進去之後就暖呼呼，還可以眺望海景，搭配下小雪，超浪漫!搭配一泊二食，晚餐每道都很精緻，都市生活且趕上班吃三餐都很趕，在那裏一道道享受、品嘗，吃了1.5hr，整個愜意放鬆!真的很值得去

完全超乎想像！定的是有私人溫泉房間，所有酒店員工都超好！行李會要求幫你拿上房間，會帶你上房間（因為太大了），tatami床會在你睡覺前幫你弄好。而且很樂於幫助我們，因為怕會晚到所以祇訂了早餐，所以問了很久關於附近可以吃晚餐的地方，其中一位男員工還主動提出車我們到我們想去的那間ramen店！真的很感激他！另外一位應該是經理，對不起我對日文名真的很難記住，她也很耐心回答我們不懂的問題，英文也很好! 美中不足是地點有點偏僻，去的時候徒步走了15-20分鐘，而且要上山，走的時候拜託旅館幫我們叫了taxi，大概1000yen左右去到熱海JR站。房間設施齊全，乾淨，但看得出舊的痕跡無法清除，浴室邊有點發霉。shower等了15分鐘沒有熱水，但旁邊的浴缸水龍頭可以出熱水，我們用木盤盛熱水倒在身上洗，也是一種日式的體驗。但主要是泡溫泉，所以浴室的缺點沒有多在意⋯早上有一條蜈蚣爬到tatami附近好在發現了。但附近是山所以可以理解的。整座旅館有很多層而且錯開很多個館，充滿日式裝潢，感覺好大有想探索的心情。旅館還提供浴衣，襪子，可以穿著出去吃東西，counter staff 看到我們穿雨衣會提供日式人字拖鞋給我們外出。而且會記得我們的樣子幫我們拿出我們的鞋子！整體真的是一次難忘的體驗，酒店staff真的太好了！完全超出一般日本酒店所有的耐心態度服務和禮貌！一定一定會再去！

Unfortunately, our stay at Shin Kado Ya was not pleasant. There was no hot water in shower, and the window blinds in the bathroom were not working making it difficult to shower without getting exposed to neighboring buildings. When we were out of the room, someone had entered the room to bring in some fresh drinking water. This was a nice gesture. However, the person had also used our bathroom and forgotten to flush leaving a rather unpleasant odor in the room. Luckily we had only booked one night here.

Very authentic Japanese ryokan experience. We had a huge tatami room which we found to be comfortable, although our room had no private outdoor bath which would have made it extra special. The rooftop onsen has spectacular views. Breakfast in our room was fantastic. One point would be that access to the ryokan could be challenging for some as it's atop quite a steep hill. WiFi is patchy but then you are here to relax and unwind!

お湯は源泉かけながしで部屋、浴場、露天風呂ともとてもよかった。
ただ、部屋の露天、天空露天風呂は気持ち良いですが、遠くのマンション？ホテルから双眼鏡とかあれば丸見えですね。少し気になります。でも、湯あみを貸してくれます。
部屋は古いなりにきれいだけど、障子が所々やぶれてるのと、フロントぐちは、少し雨のせいか、カビ臭い感じがしました！
脚が悪いかたはあちこち宿内を行くなら厳しいですね。段差があちこちにあります。

Staffs are very kind and helpful.
Facility is a bit old but it is ok to stay. The room was quite big and it has a nice view.
Location is a bit far from the station and it is in the middle of the hill. So better to take a taxi if you have a big luggage.

出迎えから帰るまで心のこもった応対でとてもリラックスして過ごす事が出来ました。夕食なしの朝食付きにしたのですが、朝食も美味しかったので次は2食付きで宿泊しようかと思います。日に何度も温泉に入るので部屋に温泉があるのも有難いです。

7／31-8/2 二泊三日おせわになりました。30年以上前にも泊まったことがあり、懐かしい感じがしました。部屋は、広く、清潔で好感が持てました。1泊目夕食は、少し貧弱であったが、2泊目夕食は、5点盛り刺身、蟹盛り、飛び魚の清汁、鮑地獄焼き、大サザエのコキール、魚のそば蒸し、西京焼き、大きな柔らかいステーキ、ご飯、赤味噌汁、香の物、こだまスイカの1/4と食べられないほど出されて、どれも美味しく、板前さんに感謝しました。残念なのは、大浴場が入れ替え制になっておらず残念でした。折角、熱めの温泉掛け流しなのに、風呂桶、風呂の腰掛けもヌルヌルして気持ちが悪かった。天空の露天風呂は、木製の風呂の底がぬるぬるしていて、右足一歩目で足を滑らせて、あわや救急車事件になりそうなくらい腰を打ちました。部屋の風呂は、窓が無いので、入らなかったが、シャワーだけ使用した。部屋（末広）からの景色は良く、濡れ縁も広く長くて気持ちが良かった。次回は、家族全員で今回の事を注意しながら訪れてみたいと思いました。

I stayed here for two nights. It is on the business side of Shinjuku. Everything was nice and clean. Lobby, elevator, hallways, and rooms were all clean. The hotel cost was perfect for my short budgeted stay in Tokyo.

It was the most relaxing tranquil places we have ever experienced. Although the staff speaks very little English, they were genuinely helpful and accommodating. Tomomi the owner is a beautifully gracious host. She does everything! She checked us in, helped prepare our kaiseki dinner, and even carried our bags to the taxi. The onsen experience was authentic. The rooms were spacious, clean, and tasteful. Mostly, the hospitality and warmth of the staff was uncompromising. I was surprised at how convenient the location was to shopping, the market, the park, and neat little restaurants and coffee shops. Thank you Tomomi for making my family feel like we were part of your family! We look forward to returning to Shin Kado Ya soon!
