Excellent service throughout since we booked the hotel. Lovely communication and they really aimed to please. They would jot down your itinerary and you could choose whether you want your meals with them.
The room was lovely with a private onsen at the balcony, with spring water locally sourced. You can control the roof and balcony wall electronically so that you don't have to worry about privacy problem as your balcony faces directly at the hotel's private beach (more of a rock shore to be honest).
The hotel is a 30-minute drive away from Shirahama so it's an excellent choice for people who want to get away from crowds and city life. I saw some comments about having insects in your room. That is true, but you are in a seccluded area among Mother Nature herself. It's hardly the hotel's fault. You are here to be away from the city. They'd also lend a helping hand if you found insects in your room, so overall it's actually quite manageable. The upside of choosing this hotel not situated in Shirahama itself is that when you look the night sky, you can see millions of stars and the Milky Way itself.
Overall, lovely experience. Definitely a wise choice if you are looking for a peaceful and tranquil place to stay instead of yet another city-styled hotel.

一絕的海景、寧靜的環境、繁星、舒適的溫泉，是絕佳的體驗。員工的服務也是十分一流。房間十分整潔。
唯一不足是陽台清潔度不夠，還有些垃圾在陽台的邊角。
建議駕車過來，不然要到附近購物或去餐廳會比較麻煩。

All staffs are very nice and friendly. Both Dinner and breakfast are well prepared. High quality of food with wonderful services. Room is clean and comfortable. The view is excellent with open bath onsen. Highly recommend and will definitely come back again.
