The hotel is near Komtar and the Hindu Bus Depot. I booked a deluxe room, which was spacious. The bed was large, soft, and comfortable, with four pillows provided for each bed. The hotel offers 24-hour complimentary coffee and a variety of breakfast options. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

As announced by Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Tourism Tax is imposed starting 1 January 2023 for all hotel guests that are non-Malaysian or non-permanent Residents of Malaysia. Please expect that hotel will collect the Tourism Tax from you during check-in at the hotel. The Tourism Tax rate is 10 RM per room per night.

A Tourism Tax of MYR 10 nett per room, per night applies to foreign passport holders arriving from 1 January 2023 onwards. This is collected by the hotel on behalf of the government upon check-in, and is not included in your total room cost. All Malaysian Nationals and Permanent Residents are exempted. The Penang State Government has implemented a mandatory “Hotel Fee” (Local Government Fee) of MYR 3 nett per room per night. The Hotel Fee will be collected upon check-in.

Overall very good experience in the hotel as staff was friendly and check in was smooth and fast. The hotel is also at a very convenient location, walkable to centre of Georgetown and restaurants. Bed was comfortable but wish there was thin and thick pillows to choose from. Shower head was leaking and bathroom door cannot be closed initially during our stay. Housekeeping did not replace hand towels on 2nd day and 3rd day.

얼리체크인을 해주시고 직원들이 친절하고 제공해주는 커피가 맛있어서 2점을 드리기는 했으나 1점을 주고 싶었습니다. 변기의 앉는 부분에 소변이 튄 것이 여러군데 그대로 있고(수많은 숙소에 묵어 봤지만 처음 겪었 습니다) 샤워기에 뾰족한 부분이 있어 약간 위험해보였습니다. 복도에 공기청정기가 있는데 그 소리가 너무 커서 객실에서 잠잘 때 방해가 되었습니다. 급하게 예약하긴 했지만 10만원이 넘는 금액을 지불하고 묵기엔 너무 아까웠습니다.

It was an average stay - reception staff could have been a bit more friendly! Doorman and housekeeping staff were great. Amenities in the room could be improved - it would be nice to have had some water waiting for me in the room when I arrived. Instead I had to go into the corridor and fill up a jug for myself. Also no iron or ironing board, which was frustrating. I think the biggest issue I had was the breakfast - probably the worst breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. Chaotic, terrible quality of food. Thankfully I had added breakfast on to my booking when I arrived - so after the first morning I requested a refund for the remaining days. It was truly a terrible breakfast - I’d really recommend they improve this!
