Very quiet small resort, extraordinary appartments made from old sea containers. 200m from the highway and 2 km from Kuah (restaurants, streetfood, shopping ...). Directly by the sea (no possibility to swim). Infinity pool (almost nobody there). Very friendly staff. Highly recommended for pair, independent travellers and people who want to spent time on calm and quiet place.

Amazing romantic secluded environment. Away from any activities so car rental needed which was very inexpensive. Perfect meditation yoga and relaxation place. The view and sound of the ocean was a very romantic setting.

view from the Hotel is excellent, enjoyed the facility. Besides, staff are all very friendly, very helpful, they answer questions quickly, service is very good- hotel pickup, arrange taxi for us, etc.
However need to improve pillow quality. Also breakfast is poor, they need to work on that.

the ocean酒店。。怎么说好呢。。环境一流。。但服务就。。
事情是这样的。。我们一行7人。。有来自香港的。。远自澳洲。。还有两个本地朋友。。一起开开心心由吉隆坡开车到吉打再座船到langkawi 。。入住了这家酒店。。当我们办理好入住手续。那个接待的酒店服务员有跟我们交代大概酒店的设施。。我们的车位在那里。。了解之后。。吉隆坡全程充当司机的朋友就把车开去那边预备泊車。。但司机朋友看到个比较好卸下行理的位置。。就暂时泊在那边。结果。。那个酒店接待员竟然面上毫无笑容的叫司机朋友不可以泊车在这里。司机朋友就回他。。只是几分钟把了。。等我们卸下行李就回到自己车位。。但那位接待员竟然一再强调不可以。。而且是没有礼貌性的说这里是我的地方。。你要泊回你的车位。。叫司机朋友立刻把车开走。。几分钟也不可以。然后我们几个女性朋友就不停说sorry sorry。okok。。但那个接待还是不罢休不停说这里是我的位置。。然后司机朋友就大声比较粗鲁的回了他一句。够了。不用再说。。我开走。。那个接待得势不遥人说你别粗鲁。我可以做些行动对你(大概 don't be rules I can do something to you)跟着。。有个香港朋友说了句广东话(哇。。甘恶既)。。那个接待员就说。别以为我不懂中文。。我会。。如果不满意那么可以离开这里。。整个过程。。我实在傻眼。。原来接待员可以恶成这样。。我们忍着气住了这家酒店两晚三日。。但整个心情就被这么一搞确实是有扫兴。其实这架酒店。。无论环境整洁程度都是4星以上。。酒店里其他服务员也有不错礼貌。。唯独是"他"。。可惜。。我们没留意他的名字。。只知道他不是华人不是马来人。是像印度人男性。唉。。就是一位這樣員工拉底了整体分数。。在这里还真要谢谢那个来自澳洲的朋友。。在办理离開店手续时。。她跟别的服务员投诉了。一句到尾。。如果不是这位那么特别的男性服务员。。我想我们这个旅程是愉快的。。。

夫婦二人首次到蘭卡威，不太清楚周邊環境，入口位置比較似地盤，晚上夜市很少，到瓜鎮8分鐘、碼頭15分鐘，如喜歡熱鬧的可選珍南海灘附近較多夜市，整體要看看自己想熱鬧或一個向寧靜的假期

We loved the location, on a quiet stretch of the island but everything easily accessible with a short Grab ride.
The Ocean View Suite was huge and comfortable. We cooked most meals in the room and had everything we needed.
Loved the infinity pool.

If you want peace and quiet with a beautiful view this is it. Access to food is down the road a 5 minute walk to roadside hawkers. Need a car or have hotel call taxis.

A return visit to this hotel. Clearly a business still suffering the aftermath of extended Covid lockdowns, reduced staffing and things looking a bit tired. Still a beautiful place, great staff and loads of wildlife. Still worth a visit

The property does not look like how it is presented online. There is no bar, no restaurant, no staff after 6pm. The few staff members there are really nice, but the residence has seen better days. I think covid took its toll on it. The area around the residence is abandoned and the city of Kuah doesn’t offer much. The access to the residence is just via a very busy street. If you don’t have transport yourself I would not recommend. We were generally a bit disappointed and changed hotel.

Good and tranquil hotel that's in need of manyfold renovations.
Location is nice, between Kuah and the famous cenang beach. That being said, you definitely need some sort transportation, e.g. car/scooter - grab app would be a good alternative if you do not want to drive.

I really liked this property...it had great views..the staff were lovely and helpful..we hired a scooter so it made the location ok...grab is so cheap so it really doesnt matter where you stay...langkawi is a great island to chill and explore
