On the outskirts of the souk,easy walking around,many restaurants nearby(found a great Indian restaurant if you need a break from Moroccan food,500m around the corner),breakfast generous,rooftop pleasant for sundowners(bring own alcohol)with view over medina.staff friendly and Ismail did bookings for all excursions and some restaurants.recommend this riad

Our stay was just perfect from the beginning to the end . Mouna makes the best breakfast in the morning. All the magic is happening in the kitchen. She can also make dinner if you ask the day before. Her tajine is unbelievable. The room is very pretty and comfortable. Shower is amazing. It is located next to the place des épices so easy to start with the traditional experience. Nadia helped us with the Hammam. I highly recommend this as well. Ismaël organized all the taxis to different activities and overall, our stay was perfect! I will definitely come back. Thank you to this fabulous team! You went beyond my expectations!

Riad Ecila in absolute heaven. Prior to arrival, Yvan was in contact with me to ensure any questions that I had were answered, and even booked a Hammam and Massage for me on arrival (which was bliss - thank you Nadia!). I arranged the airport transfer through them which I would highly recommend as the Medina is extremely busy and not accessible by taxi. I was met by Hassan at the entrance to the Medina who took my luggage and guided me to the Riad. On arrival, Ismail was there to greet me and I immediately fell in love with the Riad. It is a pure oasis of calm in amongst the madness of the souk and the decor is exceptional. Ismail gave me a full tour of the property and also talked me through a map of the area, pointing out all of the key places to visit including the best restaurants. My room was beautiful, as was the courtyard, pool and rooftop terrace which has a fantastic view across the Medina. Ismail also booked excursions for me which were fantastic and very well organised. I will certainly visit Marrakesh again and would not dream of staying anywhere other than Riad Ecila. Thank you Yvan, Ismail, Abdul, Nadia and Muna for a wonderful stay.

My first trip to Marrakech and my first stay in a traditional Riad. Beautiful welcome with tea even though it was late. The Riad was situated perfectly for all I wanted to see and was a welcome oasis after a long day exploring.

Quel séjour merveilleux ! Accueil chaleureux, petit déjeuner excellent et complet, calme du patio grâce à la verrière rétractable et situation idéale au coeur de la Médina ! Ambiance familiale et chaleureuse, on repart ému des sourires du personnel ! Conseil : réserver dès le 1er soir le dîner au Riad, délicieux, car il faut réserver dans les autres restaurants de la Médina. Mouna est la meilleure cuisinière de Marrakech !

Riad Ecila was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway! We were inside the Medina and close to everything. The accommodations and service were great and whenever we come back, we will stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Ecila to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The staff were amazing and always on hand to help or offer advice. They recommend and booked a couple of local restaurants for our stay and in the last night we are at the Riad (locally produced and cooked meal was amazing!). The location is right at the heart of the Souk but it is an oasis of tranquility from the outside hustle and bustle. We would thoroughly recommend staying at Riad Ecila. Thank you Yvan and the team for making our stay memorable.

Fantastisk hotel med skøn atmosfære. Meget stille på trods af at det ligger lige midt i medinaen. Meget smukt indrettet med mange fine detaljer. Sødt og venligt personale. Køkkendamen er så smilende at man kun kan blive i godt humør. God morgenmad. Ville elske at komme tilbage!

This Riad was fantastic, they organised an airport pick up for an additional fee which I would recommend! The Riad itself is beautiful and ideally located, the service was awesome and that rooftop was the perfect space to chill. Definitely recommend

This is absolutely a golden gem! The Raid is extremely beautiful, the rooms are amazing, the breakfast is very complete and served at the table, and the people... oooh the people! They are all amazing, from the owners to the cleaning ladies, everyone always smiling and ready to help! We are definitely coming back! A special thanks to Ismael! Ps: I recommend to book the transfer from the airport to the raid, getting inside of the Medina at the first time might be a little messy, so having someone with you helps a lot.

A lovely peaceful oasis smack dab in the middle of the crazy chaos of Marrakech. Yvan, both Ishmaels and the rest of the staff were constantly one step ahead of our needs. Upon arrival, we received a comprehensive orientation, including restaurant recommendations and a map of the city with lots of detailed notes. They served delicious breakfasts in the courtyard. They brought us beer, wine and snacks on the rooftop patio. They catered to our every whim....booking excursions, guides, airport shuttles and transportation. The authentic Moroccan decor is gorgeous. Even 'Cila, the housecat, was delightful. Can't say enough.... fantastic stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans le Riad Ecila. En plein cœur de la Médina et à deux pas de la place des épices, ce Riad offre une réelle immersion dans la Medina, les hôtes sont adorables et aux petits soins, le petit déjeuner est très copieux et d’excellents restaurants aux alentours. Les chambres ne sont pas immenses mais offre tout le confort nécessaire. La piscine permet de se rafraîchir après les balades c’est un vrai plus ainsi que le toit pour se relaxer en fin de journée. Bref un très bon rapport qualité prix

Trato familiar, buen ambiente y muy limpio. Detalles que te hacen sentir como en tu propia casa, flores frescas en la habitación, desayuno casero... y el personal que trabaja allí muy amable.

Sjajan domaćin, spreman pomoći savjetima. Besprijekorno čisto uz svakodnevno održavanje. Odlična lokacija u srcu Medine. Dobra mjesta za jelo u blizini, kao i tržnica sa začinima. Već nakon prvog polaganog nalaženja Riada smo se odlično snalazili po centru.

great location 3 minutes walk to big square but quiet. tastefully decorated. Good breakfast. The owner and staff are super friendly and helpful. highly recommended.
