Amsterdam Centre Harbour Apartments

I DO NOT recommend people to stay in this hotel. 1. The check-in place is very far from the exact place we stayed in. We had to walk a long distance for around 30 minutes with our languages from the check-in counter to the hotel room, it was definitely not a pleasant experience given that we have already traveled for so many hours to get to the city. 2. There was no elevator in the building. The stairs were steep and narrow and difficult to walk up, not to mention we had to carry our big luggage up and down during check-in and check-out. I almost got slipped and fell over the steep stairs while we were carrying the bags up!! It was very dangerous. 3. The pictures on the internet were deceptive and totally different with what we actually saw when we get there. 4. The place was designed for 4 people to stay, however, there were very few sockets for us to use inside and it was definitely not enough for travelers where we had cameras, phones, computers, external chargers...etc with us during our trip. 6. The WORST thing, which is also the most UNACCEPTABLE thing was that there were a lot of ant inside the room. This was very disgusting and unhygienic and we had to kill them while we were eating inside the room. The cleanliness was super bad. But, the staff have good communication with us, they would come and help us solve the problems.

1. The check-in place is not near to the apartment and it spent us extra time and money to find out the check-in point; 2. The internet service is not stable. We stayed there for 5 days but the internet didn't work for 3 days; 3. The alarm was out of batteries for the second and third days so we wake up at 7:30 am by the beep beep sound; 4. We wake up at 6:00am on the last day as there were groups checking out and they hit the doors loudly; 5. The staff didn't keep the promise that made on the first day during check-in so we needed to change our planned itinerary immediately and it affected our mood most. 6. The linens were not changed during our stay and everyone can only have 1 towel and 1 set of bed linens through the days.

interesing place style-wise..living room is really big yet its dark and not very well accessorized. kitchenette has all the basics and coffee and tea are available. a good amount of towels were provided. the bathroom has very poor lighting, otherwise its more than adequate. the mattress in the bedroom is actually two very thin twins and sadly the box spring is severely undersized. however the mattress in the living room fold-out bed is great for basic needs, this place is adequate. upon arrival, and after opening the front door, was a very foul body odor. while the bedroom windows open easily the ones in the living room are impossible to open for anyone who has no arm strength- its a struggle to get open. the elevator goes at a snails pace. to get to #302, walk up to the 3rd floor then walk down 10 steps. this is highly unatisfactory for anyone with leg problems. there was trouble with access, and when calling the customer service number and going through the prompts, the call was disconnected. numerous tried produced the same result. email message was responded to the next day, as promised. good location, close enough to the old city, with no noisy tourists. onsite management would make an immediate difference.

To expensive for what you get.

Positives: - Great location - Quick response (via whatsapp) - Easy checkin Negatives: - Place a bit dusty. Only the visible areas seem to be cleaned on regular. Lots of dust under bed, etc. - Blown out light bulbs - Checkout process (there was a building fire alarm that went off right before our checkout, and we had to exit the building for about 30-40 mins while the situation was cleared). We asked for 30 mins extra for our kids to complete getting ready and pack, but they could not extend that without charging us for an extra day. So we had to drag everything to the hallway, and completed our packing in the hallway.

Bra läge och fin lägenhet. Sängarna har dock gjort sitt för länge sedan och vi hade nog önskat tömning av sopor under våra 5 dagar.

Die Kommunikation mit dem Anbieter hat sehr schnell und problemlos geklappt. Das Apartment an sich war gut aufgebaut. Teilweise ein wenig karg eingerichtet, aber das ist ja Geschmackssache. Aber an der Sauberkeit hat es leider ein wenig gemangelt. Das haben wir direkt am Anreisetag der WhatsApp kommuniziert. Eigentlich sollte am nächsten Tag jemand kommen und die Dusche und Badewanne reinigen. Letztendlich kam dann jemand 4 Tage später.

I booked the property for 4 persons and was made to pay city tax for all for the whole stay. Though we had 4 people half of the stay. Not fair.

Great sized apartment

Very cozy and clean

The windows do not open. We felt this was a fire hazard, so we could not stay in the apartment. We had to rent another hotel and pay double the price.

Great location, could be cleaner, bathroom upstairs was working on/off

amazing location, comfort and all the amenities of home.

Good size appt which is really nice

Enjoyed our stay. Everything was about a twenty minute walk. It could use some hooks in the front entrance, to hang wet jackets

The apartment worked out great 4 guests, plenty of space, elevator helped!
