Central Park Reef Resort

There is a rooftop-pool (open 4pm - midnight) and a pool in the ground floor (open till 4pm). In the ground floor pool, serious swimming is not really easy, because it's usually very cold and there are a lot of obstacles in the water. The rooftop-infinity-pool is very beautiful. Serious swimming there is easier, but it is small and only open from 4 pm. The restaurants have delicious food. They are a little more expensive than the restaurants outside the hotel. When checking in, each room gets 2 bath towel and 2 pool towels. Additional towels cost 100 pesos each. Changing a pool towel also costs 100 pesos. The restaurant on the rooftop has very nice view. The room was very nice. The personnel was friendly and helpful. There's lots of bars, restaurants, cafes and also a Seven Eleven (8 mins walk) nearby the hotel.

It’s the nicest hotel in Subic , but it has its issues , the wifi was terribly slow and unreliable I couldn’t even stream a song without it buffering . , the hotel pools are amazing but the beach is so gross garbage everywhere and sewage being dumped into it from nearby stream , some advice to the hotel if you want to invest in your future , hire someone to clean up the garbage on the beach , I know it’s not your fault but it DOES affect your guest experience and willing to return . How much does it really cost to pay someone the Low minimum wage to spend the day cleaning up the mess on the beach right next to you. Anyways I still think it’s the best hotel here which isn’t saying much because the other hotels I’m Subic leave a lot to be desired also . It gets 4 stars almost entirely because of the pools which are once in a lifetime experience

Pool was fine but the piped music was far too loud

We tried two different rooms and each one had major issues. The first one was worn with wallpaper coming off in spots, tv never worked well, there was no hot tub on property. The next night I upgraded to a Jacuzzi room and the tub didn't work, there was a layer of dust on the furniture, a couple of cobwebs on the walls.

Lækkert hotel

Check in was super easy. My flight arrived at 6am and I arrived at the property at about 11. Check in wasn't until 3pm but they had a room ready and was able to accommodate me as I was tired. The front desk staff were super friendly and handled my every need. Bell service was available to handle my bags that was great. I got one of the less expensive rooms but it was still large with a king bed and a partial view of Subic Bay. I was happy. The only thing missing was a microwave. I had left overs from the restaurants and couldn't heat them. There is a fridge with a stocked mini bar with things for purchase. There were chips, several types of beer, coke, sprite, milk and a couple types of juice. I ate several times at the two restaurants. They have large menus and the food was very good. Service was fine and about what you'd expect. Overall the value was pretty good and I'd stay again.

The hotel is in a great location (if you like Barrio Barretto), right on the beach. It is one of the grander hotels in the entire area, with some unique features. This hotel could be great, but the staff ruined it for me. I had lots of problems and the staff always seemed apathetic. They never followed up to see if the problem was fixed or showed any sympathy and didn't communicate well. E.g., the wifi didn't work for many hours; I had to call many times and threaten to check out to get anything done. One day they forgot to clean my room and when I asked for housekeeping at 4:45 and they said they couldn't because it stops at 5 PM. The next time I tried to be proactive by calling at 2 PM to ask to clean my room. They said "sure" but nobody ever showed up. I called back two hours later but nobody answered the phone. I gave up. It really shouldn't be this hard. And so on. Other problems... If I ever left any food in the room, it would be swarming with ants a few hours later, even if the bag was tied. The room was missing a lot of amenities you'd expect at this price...they didn't have Kleenex, bathrobe, hand towel, or tea bags. Oh, and they wanted 50 pesos for some ice (unlike almost every other hotel I've been to). To be honest, I was happy to leave.

Clean room | Quite | helpful staff

The room and bathroom were clean two nice pools staff very helpful.

Anyone who travels around Asia knows that the number four is an unlucky number. It’s also well understood that the number 13 is unlucky. Well, I had room 413. I don’t like to write negative reviews. I really don’t. I’ll tell it like it is though. The people who checked me in Yes I say people rather than the professional staff, seemed rather offputting and unwelcoming. I was treated like I was checking in. Well no I wasn’t. I wasn’t treated like I was checking in for a bus because frankly victory liner bus service does a better job. They’re more professional. The room was broken. Damage the door frame to the bathroom, a leaking AC unit and a chair that was well worn up against the desk. If you could see the AC unit in action, it was quite impressive. If it was to fill a tank for water consumable water that is it would probably feed a family of 12 for a week after only one night stay. It was terrible. It’s a wonder that the floor hasn’t come up yet.
