I've been staying at the Grand Copthorne since 2017 for my business trips. It's a great hotel with reasonable prices, and the best part is its location—right by the Singapore River, with plenty of great spots to hang out just behind the hotel.

We arrived on the 1st day of Chinese New Year. Although it was not yet the time for check in, they upgraded us to a suite room and gave us the room immediately. We appreciated it so much as we were so tired after the very early flight. Location of the hotel is great, only a few minutes walk to the MRT station. This station is just a few stations from those hot tourist spots.

I had stayed here before for a nearby meeting, and because of its convenient location, I decided to rebook this time. However, I'm very disappointed. Considering the average room rate of nearly NT$9,000 per night (excluding breakfast), I don’t think this room is worth it. It’s simply too small. 以每晚平均近9000不含早餐新台幣9000的房價性價比來說，這樣等級的房間，我認為不值。 房間太小，之前開會住過還可以，為了方便樓下開會，所以這次又訂，但很失望。

Helpful and friendly staff, kindly provided an upgraded room. The king deluxe room was spacious with a nice bathroom, nice shower and bathtub. The fitness facility (gym) was well equipped and a pleasant space. Breakfast had good food with many choices, but very crowded (at 9 am) with a cafeteria-like setting. Would stay again, perhaps making it to breakfast earlier!
