Hotel Faro, a Lopesan Collection Hotel - Adults Only

Gute Lage, schönes Hotel, Service in jeder Beziehung schlecht. Essen durchschnittlich super Präsentation aber Qualität lässt zu wünschen übrig.

This is not a five star property. The room interiors give the five star atmosphere. Plenty of wardrobe space and clever arrangement of coffee/tea facilities. But the rest of the hotel is four maybe three stars. At breakfast which you can choose the menu alongside buffet. Expect random things like no avocado. The staff are so busy turning tables for dinner you’ll be lucky if you get acknowledged. Same at dinner but in reverse. The pool is okay but don’t expect service as it isn’t fully staffed and there’s no call bell. The bar again depends when you visit I stayed an hour and didn’t see one server. The Sky bar seems to have no attendees which is strange. One highlight was getting breakfast delivered to my room. That service was exemplary. The location has great shopping to suit any budget and loads of nightlife and plenty of restaurant options. The bus and taxi stop are within reach making it easy to reach and explore the island.

We absolutely loved our stay at the faro and we are already looking at booking for next year ..

Schönes Adult only Hotel direkt am Meer. Frühstücksbuffet ist hervorragend, Liegen am Pool sehr bequem, Service zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Hemos estado unos dias en este hotel, todo muy bien. Decoración bonita, servicio excelente y magnifico desayuno. Butacas super-comodas en la piscina, ademas hay muchas por lo cual no hay problema para encontrar sitio. Repetiremos

Der Gästemanager ist frech, unhöflich und hat uns 21 Uhr aus dem Hotel Restaurant rausgeschmissen !! Wir müssen in die Hotelhalle gehen. Da war laute Musik und da wollten wir nicht hin. Ansonsten im Hotel alles schwarz, Kleines Waschbecken direkt im Zimmer, unmöglich, kein Badezimmer. Wir gehen in ein anderes Hotel!!! Sehr traurig, es war so ein schönes Hotel, der Architekt hat keine Ahnung was Gäste möchten. Ruftopbar immer laute Musik Sehr sehr schade. Nicht zu empfehlen

Well run hotel in an excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff and good food.

This hotel is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. The location is perfect, the views are amazing, the decor is stunning and the service is fantastic. Although the evenings were cool in February, we could still enjoy drinks (excellent cocktails) on the patio which had the most fantastic sunset views. Sleeping with the balcony door open was perfect, with the wonderful sound of crashing waves. The views from the breakfast room (whether you sit indoors or outdoors) are amazing and you can watch the morning surfers. Breakfast was great with an a la carte and buffet combination. It was also wonderful to have Nespresso machines at breakfast, together with all types of 'milks'. The pool area is immaculate and the loungers are incredibly comfortable with very thick mattresses. The rooms are stylishly decorated and a different treat is provided every day (together with bottles of water). The cleaning standards in the rooms (and throughout the hotel) are incredibly high. I never noticed anything that did not seem to be immaculate. The only thing to be aware of is that the bathrooms are open (with separate toilet/shower areas) so it may not be the best place to stay if you require privacy from a roommate! The staff are so pleasant and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would happily return.

Amazingly placed next to iconic lighthouse, beautiful beach and dunes to one side - promenade walk to the other. Everything we needed to relax. Occasional lunch on stunning rooftop restaurant/bar. Staff super welcoming and helpful.

Very friendly staff. Felt totally safe in this area and would consider going here on my own. Everything to hand. Great bars and restaurants close by

Ich war nur für 1 Nacht dort, daher kann ich nicht alles bewerten. Aber der erste Eindruck war toll! Ins Detail eingerichtetes Hotel. Großes Zimmer mit Balkon. Viele Goodies. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Beim Check In bekommt man ein Welcome Getränk angeboten. Das Frühstück war 12/10 - Wahnsinn! An dem Abend war sehr schöne Live Musik.

Fantastisk beliggenhet i forhold til strand og spisesteder. Kommer absolutt tilbake.

I love Gran Canaria and visit twice a year. This the second time I have stayed at Lopesan Faro. The hotel itself is beautiful and adults only. The location on the beach with incredible views to the ocean and across the famous dunes is second to none. As are the facilities in hotel with the best breakfasts anywhere plus a wonderful, heated pool with the most comfortable loungers. The rooms are great except the first floor overlooking the dunes and the Dunas hotel on the back of the building. This gets noise from the aircon units and the rear service access road which woke us up at 5am with bins being emptied so we moved to another room. The lobby bar has incredible views across the pool and out to the ocean. The location in Meloneras is great. There is wonderful shopping plus a myriad of bars and restaurants on your doorstep. I love Cafe del Mar for the Friday and Saturday night dining and cabaret shows, Pitos y Flautas for sunny lunches overlooking the ocean and Grand d'Italia for late dinners. All of these plus retail therapy - check out Mo's Fashions - are a 1 to 5 minute walk along the promenade. There is aso a very handy taxi rank opposite the hotel for trips to Yumbo, Playa del Ingles or to take you to the airport. I highly recommend this hotel and I have already booked to return next year.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Terrasse zum Essengehen bietet einen schönen Ausblick auf den Strand. Für das Frühstück und Abendessen muss ein fester Zeitpunkt definiert werden, was die Flexibilität unnötig einschränkt. Spätester Zugang zum Abendessen um 20:30 Uhr, was sehr untypisch ist für Spanien. Beim Abendessen kann man zwischen Menü und Büffet wählen. Die Portionen des Menüs sind sehr klein und die Auswahl und Qualität des Büffets ist unterdurchschnittlich. Ebenso war die Qualität der offenen Weine nicht gut, was vermutlich den Absatz der Flaschenweine fördern soll. Die Pool-Landschaft ist im Vergleich zu den umliegenden 5-Sterne Hotels deutlich eingeschränkt. Es gibt auch keine Strandliegen des Hotels. Die Junior-Suite ist sehr schön und beeindruckt mit der Grösse, einem tollen Balkon und einem wunderschönen Ausblick.
