Backpack Lanka - Central Colombo - Hostel

跟好友一起把背包和行李箱寄存在前台监控下方，但是好友背包里的充电宝不见了，因为着急赶飞机，没时间追查。

駅からは近くて大通り沿いにあるのですが、入口が分かりづらいです。2泊しましたが、部屋に3回トカゲが出ました。シャワーは、熱々のお湯が出ます。受付の人はフレンドリーで、とても感じの良い対応でした。

Alles scheint ok zu sein fuer eine Nacht. Sauberkeit mehr oder weniger ok, man muss bedenken, dass man in Sri Lanka ist! Ich wollte meine sehr späte Ankunft telefonisch ankündigen, konnte den Herrn von der Rezeption am Telefon aber nur sehr schlecht verstehen. Aber ich denke, ich konnte alles mitteilen. Ein früherer Aufenthalt war auch zufriedenstellend!

Friendly and helpful staff and easy access to town area.

朝ごはんは着いてるので良かった コンビニもすぐ近くにある ロッカーがなかったので心配だったが結果何もなかった シャワーは故障中でお湯が出ず、別フロアを使うしかなかった ワイファイはあまり機能しなかった

Man fick inga lakan att sova i. Enbart underlakan för inte sova direkt på madrassen. Frukosten var ett stekt ägg och tre brödskivor. Jag är ändå nöjd för vi betalade inte för mer. Men förvarning om man satsar på bättre.

Een leuk hotel als je wat goedkoper wenst te gaan. Perfect voor gewoon je nachtrust op te zoeken. WiFi aanwezig en het hotelpersoneel is vriendelijk en doen hun best met het spreken van Engels.

Backpack Lanka var et ok sted for en enkelt nat på et begrænset budget, men der er ikke den store luksus, og jeg ville ikke anbefale det til et længerevarende ophold. Vi ankom omkring midnat og checker id næste formiddag, for at rejse væk fra Colombo, så jeg kan ikke rigtigt sige noget om området, hvor det ligger.

Wasn't made clear at the time of booking that there wasn't a window in the room, tainted our stay massively, staff were friendly and very helpful, AC unit was powerful and wifi was ok. Breakfast was good, simple fried egg on toast.

The room smelled bad when I arrived and the walls are thin so hear noise from other guests throughout the night. Bathrooms and showers are clean and staff are friendly.

I got what I needed. Just a place to sleep. Bonus was the hot water and working wifi. no windows was minus.

Very reasonable for budget travellers.

The location was the only redeeming factor of this property. It is very easy to get to and from many places. When I arrived at 2am, which I put in the special notes about late arrival. The door was locked. I needed to wake up the night staff to check in. The check in was a bit long and I was just given my key. When I arrived to the room there was a musty smell that just didn't go away. The room is small (4 female dorm). There are no lockers for safe keeping of your stuff. Also there is only one sheet on there bed. They don't even provide you with a top sheet. It does get chilly with the AC on which you certainly need, as there is no window in the room. The bathing area is disjointed and not very clean at all. I was not super happy. The water was cool on most days even when they say hot water. I would not recommend this place.

The place could use a thorough cleaning. I was in a 4 person female dorm. They never once came to change sheets after a guest left. There was a significant lack of toilet paper in the bathrooms. The bathrooms were not the cleanest. The set up was a bit weird as well. Toilets across from the showers. There was no place to change in the showers or even hooks to hang your towel. I was told it was no frills. That is exactly what it is. Also they lock the door on the evening so if coming back late you will need to wake the attendant. If you're okay with bare bones, then this is okay. The location was very awesome. That was the only benefit of this place.

Was a short stay, only two hours but the worst two hours. Bad service and I think we were double charged. We paid through hotels.com but receptionist also asked for cash!

Det är verkligen ett ställe man mellanlandar på. staden Colombo har inte mycket att erbjuda och är stökig, men Backpacker Lanka har jättetrevlig personal, gratis lankesisk frukost och finns tillgängliga dygnet runt. Duscharna är rena och toaletterna lika så :)
