Best Western Tumwater-Olympia Inn

Breakfast had a god assortment of choices including a decent steam table line. On my Monday morning, it was scrambled eggs or biscuits and gravy and sausages. Their menu board indicated a variety of other choices on other mornings.

This hotel was in terrible shape. The shower curtains were barely hanging from the bar, the tile was stained and the overall cleanliness was lacking. I was traveling with a little dog and he was going crazy for something under the bed. I pulled out the mattress and found a tennis ball, soiled handtowel and a bag of water (probably an ice pack) along with a fair amount of dust and grime. It was really pretty awful

The front desk staff is so amazing! Kyle was so helpful in sorting out a problem that Expedia was responsible for but offered himself freely and made our weekend so special!! Thank you Kyle!

Clean and comfortable room. Bed was very comfortable!

Clean and good breakfast. The only thing is to give 4 star instead of 5 there are no elevator.

Overall everything was good. There was a fire alarm incident that resulted in having to evacuate the building during the night while fire officials checked the building. No fire but it would have been helpful if a staff member informed guests about the event to reassure everyone. Thankfully the incident was a false alarm and fire alarms did work appropriately.

It’s okay, clean enough. I was expecting more for the price, but guess I was off. Hallways and room had an older yucky smell, particularly in the hot weather. But room and bed was comfy enough, bed on squishy side.

The staff was fantastic. Excellent customer service. Breakfast was nice and plenty. The area isn’t the nicest but it’s not a dangerous area.

Compare to what I paid per night the quality of things in the bathroom was very cheap. From toilet paper to soap

Quiet and clean hotel.

During check in our card was charged for the entire 3 night stay instead of just for incidental even though we pre-paid through Expedia prior. That put us in the negative, was chaged an overdraft fee and took days for them to put the money back, super frustrating. There is no bathroom on the 1st floor for guest to use. Whe asked of there was a restroom durwhile eating breakfast the front desk later was rude and stated "its for employees only" she allowed my elderly mother to use it and snapped at her saying "make sure you lock it when you're done". There is no elevator in this hotel, only stairs. The hot tub area is enclosed, no ventilation and the chlorine was really strong. It was rough to breath in, eyes burning and the window would not even crack, appeared to be rusted shut. We opended the door to that area and the main door to the the gym just to get a little air floor. Couldnt stay long our eyes couldnt take the chemicals.

Great place!

Morning staff person was unbelievably rude and dismissive. Not the type of person who should be working in a hospitality position. Her snotty attitude and demeanor really negated all the positives we experienced at this property. This was in dramatic contrast to the warm welcome we received the night before at our very late check-in.

Found this lodging as described on website. Staff was professional and prompt. Convenient location.

The staff was great. We had flight delays and did not get there until 2am. They were courteous and quick with the check in.

There were some really loud door slamming at 5:30 AM, which was kind o inconvenient
